Disadvantages: Does not work with locking seat belts eg Mazda 6

This type of car seat is not suited to Mazda 6 cars or any car that has a locking mechanism on the seat belt. We found it very difficult to install in the Mazda 6 as the seat belts do not give. In order to unlock the mechanism the seat belt has to be unfastened. Therefore the whole unit base has to be disconnected and re-fitted every time the car seat is taken out. Mamas and Papas Pro-Tour, in my opinion potential death trap

Advantages: it hides the dirt well
Disadvantages: an expensive waste of money that, in my experience, isn't fit for its purpose

I know it's a very emotive title but I really think it's an accurate one. We bought the exact model pictured about approx 18 months ago (117 GBP) and although it was never an easy seat to use (the 5 point harness twisted all too easily) we could at least trust it to be safe. Great car seat

Advantages: recline function
Disadvantages: material on seat bobbles

A Great Buget Option Combi Car Seat

Advantages: Comfortable and fully adjustable to suit
Disadvantages: Tricky to fasten

I bought this car seat when my son was 10 months old to put in my mums car and at £85 I thought it was a great bargain! The seat unit itself consists of a removabe padded booster seat and a high back which are held together by what I can only describe as a large plastic anchor shape at the base of the high back and a moulded hole in the back of the booster seat, I had a few problems with this as every time I lifted the car seat the two fell apart ...
