Available car - they had one available for us!
Advantages: Loads of cars, no hard selling Disadvantages: You might get passed from person to person in the show room
...heard all the adverts for available car.com we thought we would go and have a look around one of their forecourts just to get an idea of what we could get for what money. Availablecar.com are also available on line although not all cars in their show room are on line so it’s worth a visit to see what new vehicles have come in. They deal with cars ranging from £3000 to £15,000 so if you are looking for cheaper or have more money to spend you might ... ...it clear available car only sell second hand cars, so don’t go expecting to get anything brand new, although they have a great range of nearly new!
We currently have a 02 Ford Focus and were looking for something a little bigger (but not too much, because at some point I’m going to have to park it myself!) and as new as possible.

Fantastic value for money!!!
Advantages: Huge choice, helpful staff, value for money! Disadvantages: Couldn't find any!
...the experience of buying a car so easy & simple. It was my first visit there and only went in to have a browse with a friend who wanted to buy a Passat - couldn't believe the sheer size of the place. I eventually ended up walking out with a car myself! The car has Sat Nav, Leather, Sunroof, 17" Alloys, heated seats... the list goes on, i'd found my dream car, at a very cheap price as well! The salesman who served me was very helpful with all my queries ... ...a test drive in the car - not a problem at all! I had arranged the finance with no problems & i could have even driven the car away the same day if i wanted, but thought i'd calm down a bit and collect in a few days. i found the collection process very quick and easy also. within a matter of minutes i had all the documents and keys to my new car presented to me by a friendly member of staff and was delighted to drive it away. Cargiant's slogan is ...

Wilsons Car Supermarket
Advantages: None Disadvantages: They cannot be trusted and are dishonest
...wife a Toyota Yaris from Wilsons for £6000.00 in May. It was one disaster after another.
Firstly the car I bought was up on their website at £5300.00 which eventually they reluctlantly honoured after bringing it to their attention. Then they said that they could not locate the log book as they had initially had sold the car to someone else. I was told he has failed to secure the finance on the vehicle and subsequently the car came back on site. ... ...book. I was offered compensation for all this by the salesman but the so called director (Rude bitch) refused to honour this.
To add insult to injury they said that they would send off all the documents to the DVLA including the part I was supposed to send off. This never happened and I was fined £40.00 by the DVLA for failing to notify them that I ghad sold the car.
They also never supplied the locking wheel nuts for the car and the car was involved ...

BE WARY OF BULLISH SALES AND PARALLEL IMPORTS
Advantages: Can't offer any I'm afraid - good deals to be had from standard dealers at moment Disadvantages: can't be trusted - If you like gambling they're great.
Motorpoint Glasgow - nearly duped into buying Ford Fiesta 1.4 % Door Titanium.
Be very careful before you buy a new car from motorpoint. Bullish sales tactics on phone - they will reduce deposit from £500 to £300 for you - a 'special deal'. The spec of the cars they sell are no where near that of UK cars. They use parallel imports (in this case, Malta).
When I asked about spec they initally said that they 'couldn't guarantee' the final specification ... ...subject to deposit refund if spec vastly different. Car transported from Derby to Glasgow. I e-mailed them the UK spec and was then told it (the spec) was exactly the same 'except for the floor mats'.
It turned out they had frankly lied to get me to view the car. I got to Glasgow to view car - Vastly different spec - Instead of Ford Fiesta Titanium it was more like Fiesta Style/Zetec.
I would imagine they deal with all makes/models of car in the ...
