Motorpoint takes customer to court

Disadvantages: Lots !

...being taken to court by Motorpoint for non payment. And was threatened that Motorpoint would repossess my new astra for non payment ! A hearing date has been set in DERBY county court when the deal was struck in Scotland. Take note, Motorpoint record every phone call to and from their branches. I asked for a copy and got SOME of them but not the important ones for my defence. Will post the outcome when it's all over. ...

Totally refreshing and great experience

Advantages: Very Cheap Prices and no hassle service
Disadvantages: Shame it's not heated (I was freezing)

...of a friend to try Motorpoint as the prices were the best around. It wasn't a million miles away from where I lived so I made the effort to see what they had to offer! As I walked through the gate I was expecting to be bombarded with a pushy salesman who would attach himself to my hip for my duration there. Sure enough a salesman caught me diverting the inside building to walk around the side to the undercover pitch and made a beeline to intercept ...

I asked how could they sell their cars for so much cheaper than the main dealers and his response was "It just shows that main dealers won't get out of bed unless there's over £1,500 proffit in the cars" which I found ammusing. Fantastic value for money!!!

Advantages: Huge choice, helpful staff, value for money!
Disadvantages: Couldn't find any!

...the experience of buying a car so easy & simple. It was my first visit there and only went in to have a browse with a friend who wanted to buy a Passat - couldn't believe the sheer size of the place. I eventually ended up walking out with a car myself! The car has Sat Nav, Leather, Sunroof, 17" Alloys, heated seats... the list goes on, i'd found my dream car, at a very cheap price as well! The salesman who served me was very helpful with all my queries ...

Disadvantages: They cannot be trusted and are dishonest

...wife a Toyota Yaris from Wilsons for £6000.00 in May. It was one disaster after another. Firstly the car I bought was up on their website at £5300.00 which eventually they reluctlantly honoured after bringing it to their attention. Then they said that they could not locate the log book as they had initially had sold the car to someone else. I was told he has failed to secure the finance on the vehicle and subsequently the car came back on site. ...
...book. I was offered compensation for all this by the salesman but the so called director (Rude bitch) refused to honour this. To add insult to injury they said that they would send off all the documents to the DVLA including the part I was supposed to send off. This never happened and I was fined £40.00 by the DVLA for failing to notify them that I ghad sold the car. They also never supplied the locking wheel nuts for the car and the car was involved ...
