Advantages: hold the road like a baby sucking on its dummy,durable,tread looks cool.
Disadvantages: probably cost an arm and a leg to replace.
A tyre that can be trusted in the dry and the wet,cornering at speed gives you a sense of stability and control.
This can be an advantage when you like to test the car to its limit when first purchased.
