This site is very good, and contains a useful conversion chart and some good tool handling tips.
Advantages over an old bedsheet, plastic bin bags, or even newspapers etc include the fact that old sheets tend to be threadbare, and thus more likely to allow paint to soak through, these proper sheets are not likely to be accidentally kicked aside like newspapers. They have a close weave so do not allow paint through. Of course you can just throw them in the washing machine when they do get dirty,
Size - the professional painters use these measuring 12 feet by 9 (3.6 meters by 2.7 meters ...
Advantages: A huge basket for the results of the shredding Disadvantages: The machine gets very hot!
, minimal packaging and minimal fuss.
The basket is made from steel and feels very thick and strong. It also, surprisingly, holds loads of paper.... it took a long time to fill up and even longer to empty out into the compost bin!
The shredder element is easy enough to use, but did on occasion, overheat. At first we thought that it had broken, but after leaving it for about ten minutes it was ready to go again.
I must say that there is something highly addictive about shredding and it is a satisfying job with the TESCO shredder. It makes minimal noice too... We were still able to watch the TV whilst doing it!
Although this shredder says it can take five sheets at a time, we would recommend caution here...three or four is the maximum and five just makes it get hot and slow.
All in all though, We are really happy with it and feel we have got ...
Advantages: Wear wel,l need little or no ironing , Disadvantages: ?
made of 100% cotton and do feel quite soft. They are very much like a cotton jersey tee shirt fabric, one advantage is they are stretchy and fit the cot well.
They are machine washable, essential for any baby sheet. And they do not need ironing hurray, who needs extra ironing when they have a baby.
These sheets can either be bought in store or online at http://www.mothercare.com.These sheets do last well will see two babies use if not more, and when they have finished you could use them as rags/ dusters I just checked a few other sites for prices of cot sheets like these kiddicare are about the same price. Other sites I looked at were similar prices check eBay for better prices
I would recommend a few of these sheets even if you then decide to have some flat flannelette sheets as well. ...
