On entrance to Carcraft Leeds we were approached by one of the sales team and we told her that we had come for our appointment, she went off to find the person we were there to see. On her return she said that she had been told to look after us, after choosing a car she sorted out what could only be described as a fools deal. my wife and I were told to take a seat and think about the deal. we were about to leave when I received a call on my mobile, it was the person we went there to meet and when I told him what was going on it turned out that his co-worker had stollen his lead. Thats not the end, we bought a car and returned home. Over a period of five months I started to notice scratches some small some big that began to appear all over the car, and bloomed paint work all down the left hand side, The car had been carefully disguised. A friend looked at it and noticed it had undergone major repairs on the front end and that the panels were not in line. Finally the Engine Management System packed in. Carcraft simply told me that it was bought under Sold as Seen and it was nothing to do with them. We were there for six hours and I have ended up with a 12.5k banger.

I've always dreaded buying a car. When you hear stories like this it makes you distrust all car dealers.

Welcome to Ciao. Why on earth did you buy a car from these people, 6 hours!! didn't the alarm bells ring when they offered you an obviously crap deal? Please let us know more for a higher rating. Jo

Such a shame you had a bad experience, car dealers can't seem to get away from their awful stereotype! x
