halifax expresscash, dont even bother

Advantages: you can see your balances online
Disadvantages: hardly anywere accepts it

...teens, Halifax give you a Visa Electron. You can use the Visa Electron with most popular online retailers, like Amazon.co.uk and Play.com so dont be put off to much but using it in the High street can be a problem as not many high street stores accept it (although more are starting to). But you can just go to a ATM to withdraw up to £300 Not bad for a teen account. if you do have any idea of how to link it up to paypal that would be very helpful ...

Great Service. A Few Grumbles

Advantages: Secure, easy to use
Disadvantages: Validifying accounts is a hassle and time consuming, fees are high

...to add I'm sure about Paypal that has not already been written but I want to say my two pence worth, so I am going to. Paypal is a secure online payment mechanism run by eBay. You can use it to make secure payments for items over the internet without having to give you're ban or card details to someone you do not know. You can either keep a Paypal balance from any incoming funds (such as through eBay sales) or pay for things using a credit card or ...
...a few grumbles. Paypal fees are extortionate. I know they need to make money but their percentage of revenue is huge (I believe 10% at last count). If you are selling through eBay, you get hit with their ludicrously inflated fees and then with Paypals too. Validifying your account can take a long time. I had to pay for an item recently but realised that the credit card details I had listed were out of date. It took me a very embarassing 5 days to ...

Solo is poor at best...

Advantages: it makes you feel like you have a debit card.
Disadvantages: it fails to perform as a viable debit card when you need it most.

I gave this one star because I am from the United States. I have NEVER had such a hassle with a debit card in my life. The worst part for me is that I commute into central London and THE NATIONAL RAIL DOES NOT ACCEPT SOLO...it's the only card they don't recognize actually. I still have an account in the states and my debit card from there works fine to buy train tickets, but it adds a $10 fee for the transaction. I have been in very awkward moments ...

All your cards covered for just £12!

Advantages: All your cards, wallet, bags, passport, drivers license, NIC protected
Disadvantages: No website to add cards

...driver's license, your National Insurance card and add a few store cards and some cash and you have an average persons wallet or purse. What is CPP? Let's say your out doing your Christmas shopping and someone decides to steal your wallet. You have a bunch of bank and credit cards plus some cash in it. If you live say ten minutes drive away it's going to take you ten minutes to get home. You then have to find a number of bank statements to call ...
...Card Protection Plan or CPP is like insurance for your bank, store, credit and other cards you might have in your purse or wallet. It also insures any money in your wallet/purse and the wallet/pulse and/or bag. Instead of calling all them banks up you simply fill in a simple form with CPP and pay them £12. On the form you just write down the name on the card, the card or account number and the bank or company who it's issued by. You can also add ...

Don't do anything to keep customers happy.

Advantages: non
Disadvantages: everything

...the most awful experience with sentinel card protection. I am their customer for about 3 years and never contacted them for a claim. The customer service is very rude and not helpful at all. I asked my service to be upgraded to Gold they refused and offered to cancel my existing and sign for gold but I would not get refund. I did not know that the Gold survice exist at all. They never offered me Gold protection. They said I can not use online service ...
