I like both liquid soap and bar soap. I tend to keep a liquid hand wash in my downstairs toilet and bar soap in my bathroom. A quick wash of the hands is all that's usually needed in my downstairs toilet (unless I dislocate my knee again and it turns into my bathroom!), so liquid soap is the soap of choice due to the quickness and easiness of it. The soap we are using at the moment is Carex Original Handwash.
The pump dispenser is easy to use and just one squirt will produce an adequate amount of soap to wash your hands. The pipe feeding the soap to the dispenser is of a nice thickness and I haven't had a bottle that's clogged up the pipe yet.
The consistency of the hand wash is very gel like, only a little bit is needed to create a nice amount of lather to wash both hands. After washing the product off it leaves my hands feeling fresh, clean and even slightly moisturised. It doesn't leave my hands feeling dry in the slightest.Carex say that the hand wash is effective in helping to prevent the spread of germs. I'm not wonder woman so I can't actually see germs to see if this wash does what it says, but as my hands feel so clean after use I can only imagine that is does help prevent germs spreading.
I'd definitely recommend this hand wash, it's easy to use and leaves hands feeling fresh and clean, and the slight moisturised feeling is great. It's nice to know that it helps prevent the spread of germs, even though I don't know how true this is.
