Why I chose this product?
I usually take my leftovers of suntan lotion and aftersun on holiday but I read an article last year that the stability of sun protection lotions is unknown and as a result the shelf life of these products may have been over estimated. I quickly binned the dregs and half empty bottles that were lurking in my cupboards. New lotions and aftersun were bought for my recent holiday to Kos, Greece.
I bought Garnier Amber Solaire moisturising protection spray and Garnier Amber SolaireAfterSun hydrating tan maintainer. The packaging has changed slightly so I've included a picture of the actual one I bought.
This aftersun claims to "hydrate skin and intensify suntan". It is suitable for the face and body being both non-greasy and non-sticky. The back of the tube reads "Is hydrating tan maintainer right ...

***My Experience***
This product sounded great.
It worked okay as an aftersun, the rather runny lotion was fairly easily absorbed into your skin and didn't leave a sticky residue, plus the scent wasn't unpleasant and not too overpowering or girlie. My skin always felt nice and smoothafter use.
One 150ml bottle lasted the two of us approximately 5 days (we ended up using nearly 3 bottles during the 2 week holiday)
It's the self-tan element that I have an issue with.
You are recommended to wash your hands immediately after application, which we did but after only 2 days both my husband and I had develped bright orange palms. We had to resort to obtaining a pair of rubber gloves from the very helpful lady who came to clean our room so that ...
Advantages: Great pot,nice colour product, applies well and sinks in fast, leaves my skin soft. Disadvantages: The scent can be overpowering.
FCUK Polished Whipped Bodycream is provided in a circular plastic tub which is tinted pink with a black screw top lid which is easily removed. Once removed I can see the 'whipped bodycream' within and it is a very light coffee coloured cream. I am immediately hit by the scent of this cream as soon as I open the pot and it is a fairly nice scent which I think is predominantly the almond oil and the added vanilla. It is very nice but I think too much of this is a little overpowering.
To use I just apply to my towel dried skin after a bath or shower and it sinks in to my body very easily with just a slight bit of rubbing required. I don't need to use much of this at all as a little definitely goes a long way. It makes my body lovely and scented and my skin deliciously smooth.
