    Carlsberg Premium Lager Beer undoubtedly ranks amongst one of the finest beers in the world. The lager version is commonly available in most pubs from the tap and then the canned and bottled versions also available in pubs aswell as supermarkets and shops. What really impresses me the most about Carlsberg is its smoothness, which is really very difficult to find in a beer. Most beers are either too light or too bitter for me but Carlsberg is just about right. The only other beer that comes close to me is Heineken. The beer is very mellow and excellent in colour.     Picture the scene, It's Saturday afternoon and I'm helping a friend who's building a fence in his garden. When I say helping, I mean supervising in a know-it-all sort of way. It was fairly warm and it came to the point when his partner asked if I'd like a drink. Now, I really didn't want to interrupt her labours - concrete won't mix itself, you know - but on the other hand, I was a tad thirsty. "Tea or coffee?" she asked. What a sense of humour...laugh?     Carlsberg, probably the best lager in the world – or so the adverts on television tell us. I have to agree! Carlsberg, to be brutally honest, isn’t my favourite lager, but is without a doubt one of the finest around. You can get the lager pretty much anywhere, in pubs (both off the tap and in bottles), it is one of the few ales served at night clubs (as opposed to sickly alcopops) and of course in supermarkets and off licenses in cans and bottles. Carlsberg is one of the few lagers that is smooth and doesn’t have a grainy aftertaste, a quality that makes it so enjoyable to drink. The lager not ... more

    Here I am forced into drinking lager. By definition I am a bitter man. Not a description made by some of the women I have dated but a fact about the type of beer I prefer. Actually even now I am a telling a lie of Blairesq proportion. My favourite drink is draft Guinness. After coffee that is. No I don't drink Guinness after coffee I mean coffee is my favourite drink….. English is such a crap language in which to express oneself! So how is it that I sit at my computer drinking a bottle of Carlsberg Export premium lager? Well partly because a four pack needs drinking and I had the other three ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very reasonably priced, execellent body and taste. Compares as best buy with other beers of same volume.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not avaiable, as far as I an aware, in bottles.Lager generaaly taste better in bottle or poured into a glass

    Having recently reviwed the tatse of several lagers over the festive period, by far the best in terms of quality and price was Carlsberg Export, for a full flavoured easy to drink beverage. The lager is best appreciated from a cold glass rather than the can and in comparison to other 5% beers, this had its own unique, refreshing smooth tatse. The distinctive taste was very welcome and a surprising change from the 'sameness' of other, should we say belgium and french beers! I would strongly reccommend this as the favoured beverage for the novice drinker, which of course should not be taken in ... more
