This product is great for achieving loose curls, the high temperature achieves refined curls and works best when hair is wrapped the top to botttom. The additional steam shots brings the curls along. This and electrically powered tong but doesnt have any temperature settings and is not ceramic coated or hav ionic technology, therfore I would not recomend using this product frequently as it will damage your hair. This product is very light and easy to use, and does not requiuire a user manual to operate. The tong should not be applied on wet hair. The product is not poor as it acheives the job it set out to do but there are many other curlers who have ceramic plating at the same price which will achieve curls and protect ahir from damage.
