...This product comes with a handle, a curling attatchment, a flicking atattchment and a straightening atattchment which clip onto the handle. It is mains powered and comes with two free gifts. I found this product generally quite good. The curling attatchment worked nicely and although flicking one also worked quite well it took a while to learn to use effectively. however, the straighteners were difficult to use as they are too wide and they didnt work very well, they created kinks which are very hard to get rid of. The steam works well but I found that unless you screw it on very well, the water container tends to leak and so you have to empty it between use which can be a bit of a pain. ...My step Daughter came home from her Nan's after Christmas with a nice little set called steam dream. This has three attachments to do different things with your hair. As she is only ten years old and I didn't want her to burn anything I thought I would check them out first before letting her use them at her own will. My First thoughts They are pink! Ok for a little girl, hang on there is a small container of water on the end, I don't like the look of these from the start, electric and water do not mix well. So I decided to plug them in a see if they would burn the carpet if left on its side. Well the answer to that was no I don't think they would, the metal plates are tucked away inside the casing but as I picked them up water dripped from the end. Advantages: Hair looks amazing!
Disadvantages: Takes a while to do all of your hair

...I first saw the Carmen Angel Curls on Big Brother last year (2004) and I must say I was intrigued, but not enough to buy them. Then a few weeks ago I saw a friend using them and her hair looked amazing. So I decided to get some for myself. I bought mine from eBay for around £10 including packaging, not bad as they retail for about £17 in the shops. There are lots of them going on eBay, most are brand new (like mine). It comes in a really cool pink box and is well packaged. As soon as I got them in the post I had to try them out. I first read the instruction booklet that comes with them, it is really easy to understand and follow as I think the product is aimed at young girls. You simply remove the end section that is like a plastic bubble, and fill it with water. This is where the steam comes from. Then screw the "bubble" back... Read review
