...well i brought these as i fell in love with them as they were pink, naturally. they come in a small box, instruction book which would of been interesting but i didnt read it im afraid. i plugged them in and left them to heat up. They seem to of took ages...a lot longer than my old ones and the heat wasnt all that hot...although i do admit once i pulled them through my hair it was hot enough to straighten it. i had to go over it twice though in order to get it straight. i was very pleased with the result (although it took me twice as long) and i would recomend you use thin strips of hair not a thicker bit as it seemed to go through easier on the thin strips. so all in all they are good and do the job well.... This Styler heats up quickly, but, doesn't burn, like some other hair stylers...it is good product in cheap valu ...and u can protect ur hair by using any cream heating is controllable...so far I do recommend them. I haven't had any problems with my hair being burnt or singed. I guess it depends on your hair type and condition.
