I have always been sceptical when it comes to buying an item that ?everyone has/wants?; which is why when it came to the time to decide what to buy to straighten my hair, I was hesitant to select one from the GHD range. Their obviously higher prices seemed to be more for a one of Christmas or birthday present, not something solely for vanity purposes!
However, when I came to finally decide to buy this product, I was AMAZED. Truly, coming from someone who loves to do her hair all the time and takes pride in her appearance, this product certainly shaved off so much time from my daily routine.
I can straighten and curl with it, which makes things so much easier. It?s great for the daytime look, and for the evening outs ? when you want to change your usual appearance.

A lot of people class GHDs as the top brand in straighteners, but as I had never used any GHDs before, I was slightly disbelieving as to their performance. However, I soon discovered once I owned a pair that they deserve the praise and fantastic reviews they receive. They are a stunning piece of technology, which have none of the faults or criticisms which some other brands have.

explain what curly hair does when you blow dry it. It goes HUGE, and I mean literally huge. Because you have used the flat paddle brush no curls remain, just a mass of undistinguishable frizz upon your head. Admittedly my hair was very well conditioned frizz, but frizz none the less. I finished drying my hair- but had forgotten to actually plug the straighteners in. This made no difference as they heat up in under twenty second- when the little red LED has stopped flashing they are ready to use.
The irons themselves are solid ceramic, not ceramic plated like many of the others on the high street. This means an evenly hot distribution of heat through out the plates.
