...I was first recommended these hair straighteners about 3 years ago by a friend. I had used about 2 different straighteners before and neither seemed to be any good. So I decided to buy the carmengirls super sleek hair straighteners. I was instantly attracted to them, as they were very pink and girly! They came in a black box with a picture of the straighteners and a few diagrams of how to use them - which I found very useful and helpful. Inside the box was a free hair mascara and lip gloss, although I have to admit I have never used them. There was also an instruction book which again proved very useful, however the straighteners are so easy to use that I probably wouldn't have needed the instructions anyway. ...I always wanted to buy ghds as i was never satisfied with my straighteners till i used these at a friends place and they were doing the job so nicely. Moreover their price was so affordable that i went straightaway and bought myself one pair. They are pink and grey in colour and are ceramic coated but work better than any other solid ceramic ones. My wait for a nice straightener has ended with buying these ones nad now I recommend these to everyone I meet and try to gift my friends who dont have a straightener. They have variable temperature control setiings and can be locked too.They r so easy to use and get hot very quickly. I always wash hair first and apply conditioner after shampooing which gives a sleek look. but apply the conditioner away from your roots so your hair is not messy oily the next day.
