Carole Nash Insurers

Carole Nash now all I can say is what a woman, she offers all us Bikers the chance to 'Ride like the wind' - sorry should I re-phrase that 'Ride safe and sensibly as the law intended' - I don't mean to offend any of you road users. Anyhow down to the jist of this review, I have to say if you ride a motorcycle these days sometimes its a pain trawling round the insurers getting quotes that seem absolutely crazy, as I've found in the past some quotes can vary by great amounts. I am 19 and ride a bike. Sadly, that means that I am not in the insurer's good books, even though I have been riding for 2 years, and have had no points, claims etc. I spoke to my existing insurers, Bennetts, on upgrading the insurance from a £250 Yamaha RXS 100, to my recently bought £1400 Yamaha Virago 250. They wanted £500, Fully comp, with 1 yrs no claims, and DATATAG (GET DATATAG FOR YOUR BIKE!!), and a Lumo Disc Lock. This was a bit steep. I've previously worked for carole nash in the new business department, and all i can say is that it's only going to get better in 2008 for all you bikers. Now under new ownership and new management they are really having a massive drive to provide bigger and better policies at the lowest possible prices, there was talk of re-negotiation with underwriters to offer better rates. Also now under the umbrella of Groupama (massive massive company) they are in a better position to offer even better policies for people with modified, imported and custom built bikes and of course they would have a lot ... more

I have been with CN for many many years now. Over the last few years their customer service has left a lot to be desired. I renewed my policy with them in June. Arranged payments in four instalments to be taken on specified dates, a service they offered. The payments were never taken on the dates specified, not even close. Last year they helped themselves to a payment three weeks early! I have also been waiting for some of my documentation since June. Well when i first started to look for insurance for my motorcycle i looked around for a few days to get a few quotes it can be hard work sometimes as you may know. But my friend told me about a place carol nash, he says he found himself a really good quote from them the best he been given so far.So I got on the phone and right enough they were pretty cheap. I paid them and that was me sorted for a year. It was hassle free.
