Since I was already tired, I decided a quick pick-me-up of a spray of perfume would help. Little was I to know that it would be so delightful!

In the end, I practically stopped wearing perfume altogether. I thought I'd never find a good day-time perfume that didn't make me itch all day and also suited my taste.
But Herrera's 212 totally fit the bill for me. It has a fresh, citrus scent when first put on, and then fades (eventually) into a clean, soft flowery scent that is akin to the scent of baby powder. The overtone of citrus takes quite a long time to fade. More specifically, when I put it on in the morning, I feel refreshed by the scent. By the time I go to bed at night, the citrus scent has faded and I am left with a very clean, soft, after-shower scent. Its as if I've just had a nice bath and then powdered myself with baby powder. In sort, its a refreshing perfume all day long.
I didn't have the funds to purchase it the first time I tried this perfume, and almost forgot the name of the product. Then, in December, I was in the US and while in a department store, I looked for the packaging and took a sampler stick of it - which, conveniently, had the name of the product on the stick. I stuck this into the breast pocket of my jacket. I was blessed from that time until the end of my trip with a lovely scent. When almost a week later I got home, I pulled out the stick for my husband, and we could still smell the perfume on the stick. Luckily, he liked it and kept the stick. When he went abroad about a month ago, he returned with a present for me - this perfume! (Now you know why I love the guy.)
I have to admit that (while in the Duty Free) the packaging also drew me to this product. Totally in white and silver, the colour scheme made me think of something very clean. This wasn't in the least deceptive, as I've mentioned above. A quick look at the picture above, however, may be a bit deceptive. What you are looking at is a solid tube with two small, round spray bottles of the product tucked artfully into the ends. These two little globes of perfume fit into the tube at very unusual angles, so that to replace them properly, you may need to rotate them a bit. On top of this, what you see in the picture here all goes into another tube so that it can all stand upright on your dressing table. I'd say that this unusual packaging is the only drawback of this product. But it certainly won't stop me from using it!
I have begun to use this - sparingly - in the mornings. It is light enough for day-wear, and lasts long enough to continue to smell good the whole day. I know I'll be devistated when these two bottles run out. Perhaps my husband will remember this on his next trip abroad, and buy it for me again. I certainly hope so. This perfume has quickly become my favorite.
I checked this out at duty free once, and bought a bottle immediately. Partially because it comes in this really cool container with a magnetic top ;-) But mainly because it smells distinctly different to most aftershaves you can get.
It smells very fresh, and it feels very light on your skin. It doesn't sting either (even if you've just had a shave!)
I also got some deoderant to go with it, and they complement each other very well.

Advantages: Two little bottles Disadvantages: Can spary whilst in your bag
I first came across this when i was lunching with a friend one day. i really liked the fresh smell of her prefume and asked her how what it was. She showed me the cute little bottle she had in her bag and then asked if i would like her to bring me some back from the duty free as she was going on holiday the next again week.
A couple of weeks later and for the small sum of £25.00 (duty free price) i had a new fragrance. You get two little bottles ... ...bottle. It has to come in another container because although its a nice design you cant stand the bottles up on your dressing table other wise.
The smell is very fresh and crisp and is so different to the usual fragrances i've had. It is very light and ideal for everyday use. ONe downside is that i dont think this perfume has alot of staying power and i tend to spray this again by midday to keep me smelling sweet!!

Hey! A few years ago now, my friend came back from America and with her brought me 212. What can i say? Since then, i have found myself on my 4th bottle of the stuff! It is adorable! I used to work on a fragrance counter and my mum, sister and I are mad on perfume- so you'll understand i have smelt many, and know what peoples' general opinions are on fragrances. 212 has impressed everyone. It is one of those fragrances which is not common- so not ... ...scent is unique- although many people love the smell- even men! It is a cool smell, very fresh and light, yet it lasts all the day. It has an addicive almost scent- i love smelling it! You may think i'm going overboard but please go into your nearest fragrance store- Superdurg/Boots etc, and ask for a sample. It is utter wonderful. It comes in an attractive 'capsual' and lasts for ages! Prices range from about £20 to £35. It is worth it, and customers ...

Since being a teenager I've been an avid perfume collector & this by far my most favourite.I first got to smell it when my mum bought hersel some when abroad & it was just so nice.I kept looking at in the shops & hinting that I wanted it for Christmas.It has a really light,crisp,fresh smell about & it can be worn day or night.My husband actually bought me it for Christmas last year & it came in a really attractive box set with some body lotion which ... ...attractive & elegant capsule & is actually 2 bottles of the perfume.The individual bottles are quite small so they are really easy to slip into your bag so that you can take the perfume out with you if you need to freshen up.

I received CarolinaHerrera212 as a gift from Antigua and I was certainly happy. The fragrance is extremely subtle yet has an effective smell. You sometimes mistakably pick up perfumes which are way too strong like men's aftershave (not that I have anything against them) but this really makes a women feel confident whether you wear it on a regular day to day basis or on that special night out.
I have the 60ml spray, which is beautifully presented within a lovely dusty pink box, when you open the box you will find a metal cylinder with two 30ml bottles on each side. Like many other perfumes, they are to big to fit within your handbag, with this product you do not have to worry about the size as you can carry one of the small bottles around with you.

It's gorgeous. It is very clean and fresh. 'Apparently' its very sexy and a huge turn on :-)-music to any guys' ears.
The smell is simple, yet exotic and it stays fresh for the whole day. If i spray some on in the morning, one spray on each side of my neck, I am sure that it was still smell as strong and good that evening well into the night.
As a vain guy, I would not go out to a club without spraying twice to top up the smell or after a shower just before but I'm sure if I were to spray in the morning the effect would last all night.
