The bottle is shaped in a long cylinderical form and if you were not aware that this was indeed a fragrance, many might be forgiven for thinking it was a deodorant ... ...very masucline appearance in its style and colour.
Both the bottle and the box are done up in a lovely matt grey silver finish and if I can recollect correctly I have never seen another fragrance in this colour.

I suppose that one of the good things about travelling abroad and especially to a country where many of the heavily taxed items like cigarettes, alcohlic drink and fragrances are sold so cheapily, is that you get the opportunity to go into a shopping frenzy that you would certainly not have the pleasure of doing here in the U.K. or in Europe.
One of the benefits of going shopping mad is that you tend to purchase items that vary from your usual patterns and your usual favourite brands, as you are given that opportunity by the prices that these items are available at.
On my recent trip to South America I visited one of many shops specializing in these items and one shop in particular could my attention by its huge array of fragrances. This particular shop was located between the borders of Brazil & Argentina in an area referred to as “no mans land”. You couldn’t really call it a shop but rather a duty free zone consisting of several shops under own roof and specializing in Luggage, Electronics, Toys, Cigarettes, Alcohlic drinks & Fragrances to name a few.
The choice of fragrances was absolutely breath taking and prior to stepping into this place my origianl intention was to pick up some cigarrettes only. That concept changed as soon as I walked into the place.
It took me about one hour to walk around this shop and stopping whenever something caught my eye. Each fragrance had a tester available and you just needed to spray a bit on the special tester cards that were available on each shelf. The bottle is shaped in a long cylinderical form and if you were not aware that this was indeed a fragrance, many might be forgiven for thinking it was a deodorant spray or powder.
It gives off a very masucline appearance in its style and colour.

Once again that same simplicity is reflected in the wordings on both the box and the bottle, with the words “212” and “MEN” printed without fuss on the box and simply “MEN” printed in a neon blue colour vertically on the bottle.
The actual smell of 212 is something that is so difficult to explain and could only really be appreciated if one could sample it oneself.
212 for Men is referred to as containing sandalwood and spices and containing the spirit of incense. Well most fragrances contain sandalwood so what makes this one different. I suppose its that additional ingredient that give it it mystic and originality. That special ingredient has to be something to do with spices and incense, as they have rightly mentioned. It somehow envelopes you and makes you want to close your eyes for a second to take in its intense aroma. After that initial phase you are left with an extremely refreshing and oriental type of smell and something that everyone will enjoy (gals especially)
I never really thought that I would feel this way about any fragrances other than my favourite ones, but then I say that all the time until another peach comes along.
212 for Men is not a fragrance that you would want to wear for casual or day wear. Rather I personally feel that this fragrance should be reserved only for evening wear and occasions. It’s as if you need to give it a bit of respect.
As far as pricing goes this is one area I cannot really help you with since I purchased it for a fraction of the price that it’s available at over here. However on average the Eau du Toillette 100ml goes for around £34.00 and the 50ml at around £24.00 a bottle. I would not recommend the Aftershave, unless you also use the EDT, as this does not really reflect the true impression of 212.
I hope that I have enticed you enough to want to purchase this and what I can assure you is that 212 for Men is something, I personally think, you will never want to let go off once you have appreciated what it has to offer.

It's gorgeous. It is very clean and fresh. 'Apparently' its very sexy and a huge turn on :-)-music to any guys' ears. The smell is simple, yet exotic and it stays fresh for the whole day. If i spray some on in the morning, one spray on each side of my neck, I am sure that it was still smell as strong and good that evening well into the night. As a vain guy, I would not go out to a club ... ...The fragrance is sold by Carolina Herrera, New York, who until recently were very unknown. However, thanks to the success of its feminine brands, is becoming more well known and there are now many stockists such as Boots and all parfumeries. You should expect to pay between £20 and £30 on the Internet or duty free stores, more on the High Street, perhaps £35 for the 100ml bottle.

I first smelt this when my boyfriend had a new bottle for our holiday last year. Its absolutely gorgeous! (I know im a woman but I suppose my opinion counts as its us that have 2 smell it!) It came in nice packaging-a silver tin effect and in a nice set(around £35 for a set of fragrance, small shower gel and shampoo from Debenhams) The smell isnt heavy and musky, its refreshing and light. Having said this, it lasts all day! You dont need much of ... ...and night wear, and you can smell it even when your dancing in a club-great if your on the pull! This really is a fragrance for most ages (My boyfriend has it and so does his Dad). Its quite sophisticated-it doesn’t smell cheap like lynx or anything. The fact that it lasts shows it is a good quality perfume. I dont think everyone will have heard of this perfume, I certainly hadn’t until my boyfriend wore it, but its definitely worth looking ...

...from a big name like Carolina Herrera. I've tried the Shower Gel and Deodorant Stick and reckon they do the name justice. 212 is also available in "Summer Editions" which deliver that signiture punch as soon as it's sprayed onto your skin but it lacks the longevity of the original.
212 is relatively inexpensive compared to other "big name" perfumes. I managed to track it down for £26.98/ 100ml inc. p&p- very good value for money.

When I got married last year, we decided to buy a set of aftershave for the best man. As my husband to be was deciding which one to buy him, I started have a sniff of the ones displayed on the counter.
I noticed that 212 was a new one and had a sniff. It was lovely, it had been a long time since I had smelt anything sooooo nice. It was fresh and soapish and reminded me of fresh laundry! It's a clean smell and isn't heavy, but not too light either. ... ...my hubby to be a gift set of it, for a little treat.
Well, on the special day, I got to the altar and apart fom his lovely smart suit, I smelt the 212. It was lovely and it lasted well all day!
He used all the other products to, to build up the smell and it was very fresh.
I would recommend this for any occasion, but to me, when he wears it now, it reminds me of our wedding day. ...

This has to be one of my favourite frangrances of all time! I've spent alot of time (and money) trying to find an aftershave or an eau de toilette with a really distinctive aroma and this is one of the best. It has a really unique smell, masculine and musty but with a floral hint. Whenever I've worn this, people have always asked me what it is and where I bought it from. I don't always tell them as I like to use this as my secret weapon! The box and bottle are far from special, certainly not special enough to grab your attention in a shop when huddled along with hundreds of other bottles. I think that is one possible reason why no one else has this. Plus the name is hardly awe-inspiring. Its quite embarassing going into a shop and asking if they have any 'sexy men'!!. But its worth doing as this smells beautiful. Go and get it. ...

As a current user of this edt..i think the name given to it is a bit strong one-212 Sexy MEN" !..surely it doesnt remind you of any New York Nights for 2 reasons not everybody d spent a night in NY and the other this edt is a daytime casual wear!..should comment on da above mentioned words about this edt...maybe if you are with a deep seductive look then this edt would help you to get enigmatic!..when that happens the opposite sex might ve second thoughts about getting closer to you since you r an enigma-hard to be understood!it has a sensual touch but more pepper and cardamon touch u can feel it on your skin!...A change of Name is suggested witha different smell! ...
