...is another question and answer section, a list of contacts, 10 Steps to Successful breastfeeding and information about the National Childbirth Trust.
The book is written in clear, plain language that makes it very easy to understand by anyone. It is clearly laid out with ‘impact boxes’ for more important sections of text, making it easy to dip in and out of. Advantages: Great read and good value for money Disadvantages: Nothing at all
...The Thieves of Ostia is the first book in the series of the Roman Mysteries by acclaimed author, Caroline Lawrence. This tale, set in Roman times tells of four children, Flavia, Jonathan, Lupus and Nubia who go on the hunt for a mysterious dog - killer in the city of Ostia. They eventually find the killer and the four became good friends. There are 20 books in the series, the Thieves of Ostia being the first. So far, 11 of the 20 have been published. I would give it 10 out of 10 for this compelling and addictive book and think it is suitable for the age 10 - 12. This series is being turned into a BBC series in 2007. Caroline Lawrence's great website is www.romanmysteries.com....
