I Bought an iPhone as a Christmas present from The Carphone Warehouse in Sunderland for my son what turned out to be faulty after using it for a few hours. I contacted Apple who said it was beyond repair and needed replaced. The Carphone Warehouse would not replace the handset and I had to go through Apple (who have fantastic support) and pay £29 for a replacement handset. The Carphone Warehouse has the worst customer support ever, they just didn't seem to care I was out of pocket and offered no reimbursement, although the poor girl who dealt with my problem did try everything she could, it's just a shame the manager of the Sunderland store was not so efficient, how do these people get a managers position? Apple said if I have bought from an o2 store they would have replaced the phone without issue but The Carphone Warehouse have 'different policies'. If you want an iPhone do yourself a favour and avoid The Carphone Warehouse, you will regret it if you need after care service. They are fantastic at talking your money but are terrible when it comes to looking after their customers. Never again...
