    Memories of summer days and tossed green salads I was using my carrefour olive oil to cook with last night and I wondered what I could write about olive oil. The oil I am using is Huilled’olive vierge extra 1ere pression a froid Bottled for carrefour (bought in France last summer) the French means it is extra virgin olive oil from the first pressing it was pressed cold. After the first pressing you get the Virgin olive oil which is high in acidity then the regular olive oil. This is quite often blended with other oils.
