It is robust and rigid which means it will stack for storage in the short term and you can take it apart for longer term storage. Advantages: keeps pets safe whilst travelling, strong and durable, easy to clean
Disadvantages: mesh on gate is too big and allows for scratched hands if you are careless

The title of this opinion has nothing whatsoever to do with carrying this box, but the fitting together of it, well the attempt of anyway. The box itself is made of strong durable plastic (in a variety of colours you can get a rather fetching fushia pink one I personally went for the turquoise, not so gaudy), which is very easy to wipe clean.
