Advantages: Easy and Fun To Play, Good 3d graphics
Disadvantages: unrealistic collision events

...I received this game as a gift, at first the game was hard to play, but after an hour of playing, I got the hang of it. I enjoyed the arcade style racing and the ability to buy and sell cars and purchase upgrades in evolution mode. There are a variety of game styles: Cop Chase, Time Attack, Free race, Road Challenge and Instant Play, so once you get bored of one style, there are plenty more! The gameplay is fun, its also good for people who like a challenge. The bad thing about the game is the collision events. When you crash into another vehicle, instead of spinning out like in most games, the car spins in an unrealistic, perfect 360 degree circle. Also some objects such as bridge roofs and lamp posts you can drive straight through. Overall the game is fun to play, and would recommend it to anyone who likes cars.... Read review

...Advantage: This is brilliant game because when driving the cars the handling is very realistic, the game play is fantastic, especially the way in which the levels get a lot harder. Also the fact that you are able to get different bonus features such as bigger car engines and better transmission, as you increase levels. The graphics on the game is brilliant especially the details on road conditions and game play. Disadvantage The disadvantage of the game is that details on the cars could have been a lot better. There could be a better range of cars, and easier ways to upgrade your cars. I got this game from game as it recommend by friend and has great reviews in all the games magazines. Advantages: drift path
Disadvantages: graphics for surrounding have small limit

...Ridge racer is good, it is such an easy game to play even as a beginner. The race has a drift path, so you just have to control the drift and the game will carry it around. The graphics are good and the scenery is quite real just doing a slow lap will enable you to be able to see the scenery with detail, but only close up. The game is great with a good selection of cars and tracks. The NOS function makes the game even better with drifting as your main source of collecting nos (nitrous oxide system). the feature speeds the speed and everything up, and makes the fastest cars even faster. I have played it and I am close to beating the game. The number of tours is great with 4 big tours and about an average of 13 race groups in each tour consisting of 2-4 races.... Read review
