Carte Blanche Me to You Bear Mug Best Dad In the World

Fathers day is coming up soon and as I have two children who love their Daddy very much I need to make sure that I help them to buy some nice little gifs for him. In my opinion I think its really hard to buy for Dad's when it comes to Fathers Day. Flowers and chocolates are really more suited to mothers and there are only so many pairs of cufflinks and golf accessories that you can buy for a man before it gets a bit boring and samey.

My husband always says he only really wants a card from the kids as its the thought that counts and I do agree although I do like to get him a few little somethings. This year will be his first fathers day with our little boy as he's had a few with our little girl already. Recently we were looking for cards in Clinton cards when we came across this wonderful little mug from the Me to You Tatty Teddy range.

Tatty Teddy's are wonderfully cute and very irresistible. They are the grey coloured teddys with light blue noses that you find for sale in branches of Clintons and on the web. We have a number of these Teddy's for my little girl and a money box as she really finds them cute as do I so I thought a nice mug for my husband for Fathers Day from her would be a really nice touch.

The mug was priced at just £5.99 which I didn't think was a bad price considering the bears are priced at around £10. Its a fairly small mug, about half the size of regular mugs but then sometimes all you want is a small cup of tea in a small mug sized about the size of a tea cup and this mug is perfect for that. It is made of china so is breakable but obviously if you're careful it should be fine and protected. It is quite a thin china so the mug is not very heavy. The handle is quite thin too but again makes it easy to pick up. I have removed it from the box and washed it so its ready when my husband uses it on Fathers Day and the handle is nice and ergonomically designed too. Sometimes I find handles on small mugs are too small to hold with all two or three fingers making it hard to life but this fits well in your hand and I know my husband will love drinking from it.

On the front is a wonderfully cute picture of a Tatty Teddy standing up and tilting his head to the side ever so slightly to give the look of being very cute and cuddly. The teddy is wearing a cute red and white stripy top and above him it says, "Best Daddy in the World."
