Perhaps they feel as I do that this is a special occasion product and there would not therefore be sufficient volume sales to justify a fuller range.

Santos comes in a very smart silver coloured box and the bottle is a dark brown glass with silvered mountings.Altogether very smart and chic.
The fragrance is a blend of lavender, basil, bergamot, nutmeg, cumin, juniper, sandalwood, cedar wood, patchouli and vetiver all pretty much standard ingredients for a mans fragrance but notable for the number used and the skill with which they are combined. This is a very distinctive fragrance, as you would expect from Cartier, in my opinion much more suited to evening wear and not really suited to casual occasions. I would reserve this for romantic dinners or special nights in or out.
This is a fragrance which seems to be always well received by women but for men it is love or hate . So get a sample before you buy and try it out. I would describe the smell as warm, woody and spicy. It is a long lasting scent which should see you through to the early hours of the morning and it does have a tendency to cling to your clothes.
You will find this without too many problems any of the larger department stores or perfumers, the airport shops always seem to have it and a number of online retailers.Pricing seems to be erratic so it will pay to shop around. I have found the 100ml Eau de Toilette spray for £37 but have seen the 50ml offered at much the same price.
It is a pity that Cartier do not seem to offer other products in the same fragrance, if they do I have failed to find them. Perhaps they feel as I do that this is a special occasion product and there would not therefore be sufficient volume sales to justify a fuller range.
Advantages: Undeniably sexy, sensual and feminine Disadvantages: A little pricey
of a similar ‘weight’ and intensity (while being quite different in terms of composition), so if you wear either of these, you might want to give Must a try. However, if you tend toward the water-based, sportier, lighter perfumes, then this might prove a bit strong for your liking (or you may prefer to reserve it for evening, only).
For me? I love it anytime, day or night, regardless of the season. I wear it when I want to feel sexy, sensual and beautiful. When I want to put on a little too much lipgloss, wear my prettiest lingerie, and slip into soft, fuzzy cashmere sweater (or nothing at all!). It’s wonderful for evening, and is a wonderful compliment to Santos de Cartier for men (which my husband wears). ...
