Advantages: Good value for money, enough room to expand, simple but sufficient Media Center included
Disadvantages: Often too noicy for living room, big format, media center does not include TV

...family members with little computer affinity. Unfortunately the media center software does not have a TV section in case you also have a TV tuner card. In fact a build in TV card option when configuring the PC was missing. Dell was in September 2004 only offering a USB external option that will compete with other USB devises for resources potentially leading to hick-ups in TV viewen or recording. Better buy a separate tuner card and install it yourself. A pitty because some potential buyers would not like to open the box and do this themselves. Another omission is not offering a remote control for the Media Center., but unless you want to connect the PC to a TV this is not a big issue. I have a connected the PC to the TV and with a wireless mouse can still easily navigate the Media Center. Obviously you need to have your PC relatively... Read review

Advantages: AMD processor, quiet, great price, plenty of storage
