Don't fall for these cash back scams. However, having said that i had no problems with dial-a-phone, but others have had problems with them. So maybe some are not as bad as others.

They word their t&C's in a way which will cause confusion in most people, and thus making the customers claim their money late.
even when a claim is made in time, they claim they recieved it after the deadline. Which mind you is just over a week.
Getting money from them is like getting blood out of a stone- something that shouldnt be attempted.
Moreover, My mums credit card was used to make the purchase, and straight after, large transactions were being made with her card, even abroad in Italy. I didnt have evidence to say that they had been scamming my mums card, but bearing in mind my mum doesnt use the card at all, and straight after this transaction my mum was being scammed, i suspect it might have been connected to mobile rainbow, whether directly, or indirectly (perhaps through an insecure site) i don't know.
My advise is simple- When it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Mobile Rainbow seemed to be a decent place to buy my first contract mobile phone. But the experience Ive had with them has been absolutely horrible.
Getting the promised cashbacks from them proved to be impossible despite doing all they had asked for. Their call centre lines are not picked up for 15-20 minutes (the phone rings away to glory) and no response is given upto 30 days (by which time as per their contract you're supposed to get the cashback). ... ...a standard apology is given (nothing more than that).
The first two cashbacks did arrive, but took thrice as long as they had mentioned (and a lot of phone calls and time). For the last cashback I didnt bother calling them up in the first 30 days (since they didnt answer anyway. After that when I called I was told that I had sent the wrong bill. ...FOR NOT PAYING MY ENTITLED CASH BACK (They told me i didnt send in all of the pages of my bills. Who is stupid enough to miss pages out?! Then 3 different advisors told me 4 different things all contradicting. On advisor said pages 3+4 were missing, another said pages 5+6 were missing and another said page 2 was missing!!! Blatant excuses to not pay me my cashback and very hard to prove I sent them all in!!!! ) A SHAM of a company. No response to ... ...rude all of the time, they have no manners and Do not seem to have any supervisors or managers. Always refuse to help any further and give you contact details which never work. i.e. emailed complaints@msols.co.uk over a month ago with no reply. Have faxed 0845 8909006 a number of times and they always reject whatever you try to fax in. You cant with this company.

...NO intention of paying any cash back . All T+Cs were followed by me and they claimed i didnt send in some pages of my bills for my 1st claim. Emails received from them all conflict with which bill pages are missing so clearly they concocted an excuse to evade paying the cashback.
They have NO customer Service and No manners. Call centre is in India and they cant speak english!
2nd cashback now refused as they state '13.11 If any of your cash back ...

I took out a cashback contract with Mobile Rainbow and have learnt the hard way. The customer service is extremely poor. They rarely answer the phone and if they do, it is clear that the poor operators have received minimum training. One guy was even outrageously patronising. I was lucky enough to receive my first cashback claim afer much pestering. I am still awaiting the second which is now overdue for payment for at least 6 months, and the third claim was rejected due to late arrival due to the postal strike.
STAY AWAY FROM MOBILE RAINBOW. THEY CON YOU IF THEY CAN, AND FOLLOWING MY EXPERIENCE THE FIND A WAY TO DO SO. ...

I totally agree with other writers. I bought two phones one of which did not arrive until 3weeks later which only added to the confusion when trying to claim cash backs. I was given misinformation, conflicting information and although I missed the first six month deadline I was told I could claim for the remaining instalments. However like others the money was not forthcoming. I even sent bills by special delivery to ensure they would be signed for but I still await my money. STEER WELL CLEAR OF THESE CON MEN ...
