I bought this calculator a fair while ago now- it must be about three years as I bought it for the start of my GCSEs as it was recommended as a good calculator for this stage of mathematics.
I think I paid around £12 at WHSmith for this calculator but I have heard that you can get it very cheap on the internet- I even heard of a friend that got it for £3 at some place on the world wide web! (Possibly ebay?)
This product is very compact and thin which makes it great for just slipping into your school bag and it has a slide on case which protects the screen..although I have actually lost this as you aren't allowed to take the case into official examinations in case you write some sort of equation on them or something? And I have misplaced it since then.
The buttons on the calculator are very easy to use, you don't need to press them too ...

Advantages: Separated keys; very nice to type on, very nice to look at (doh!) Disadvantages: None really
I've just purchased the Apple Snow Leopard Mac Box Set from my local Apple authorised service provider, and decided to buy an Apple keyboard with it. The Apple keyboard is priced around £28.00 - and no matter what keyboard I try I can type the fastest with this keyboard due to the separated keys. Very quiet key stroke during operation and just very pleasant to use. The keyboard enclosure is made from aluminium and even without being too close to the keyboard you can smell the aluminium when you first open the product, but the smell soon wares off. Nothing bad or anything - just saying! I actually purchased the keyboard without the numeric keypad - but you can purchase one with or without the numeric keypad usually at the same price.
The keyboard's caps lock has an LED light on the top left corner to denote the obvious, and you have to ...

Advantages: Casio chord function, metronome, 100 songs, 120 rythmes, over 500 sounds, lessons Disadvantages: small range of keys, annoying lady in speak mode

This casiokeyboard is the perfect keyboard if you want to use it just as a piano, but however, if you are a starting keyboard player, I recomend that you get this keyboard since there are synthesiszing options available. Also this keyboard has over 500 different sounds to choose from with an additional 120 rythmes and included in the price is a Casio song book which has 100 songs in it, from easy one handed songs such as happy birthday, to extremely quite hard songs, like canon pachalbel.
The lesson feature is also very helpful as it has three steps ...
