As the Keyboard cost around £400, you can't really expect to have the best quality sound or feel, but thats not to say its bad.
The keys are light, but unless you pay for weighted keys, you aren't going to get a truly realistic feel - the keys are full size, so it is good for practicing anyway.
There are only 5 voices, a couple of which are ... ...are 2 that are really poor.
The voices are Piano1 (good), Piano2 (poor), Electric piano (good solo and combined), Organ (poor) and Strings (good solo and combined). So for an electric piano, you can get a good variation on sound.
The Piano1 voice itself is a little bit short in decay and the attack is a little harsh when used on its own, and the strings voice is one of the best that I have used - which surprised me.

By that title you may think I am just a starter - I am not really, so it would also be a nice little practice instrument... But I'm not so sure it is good for that much more...

There is no sustain pedal included, but it is a standard connection so they are easy to get hold of.
And another bonus is it has Midi In and Out, so there is the oppurtunity to expand the scope of the instrument if needs be.
So yeah, I would recommend this piano for learners (aren't we all learners? and practicers - ditto!)
Advantages: Good sound quality, full size keys, good for practicing when people are sleeping! Disadvantages: Keys are very light, but it depends what you are looking for.
...My experience of the Casio CPS-700 Digital Piano
It is a beautiful looking instrument. Before I got this keyboard, I was thinking about buying a keyboard at some point and then I never bothered because I didn't think I would use it often enough to justify the cost of one.
However, a work colleage at the time (2001) told me his sister had a keyboard and wasn't using it. He asked if I was interested in having it. I said yes. He gave me it for free. ... ...that the instrument has been a great introduction to piano playing. However because of the lightness of the keys, it is challenging to go from that, to a grand piano with weighted keys for my piano lessons. The sound quality is very good.
I like the sound quality on all the sounds as named earlier.
Here are my descriptions of the sounds as I find them: 1) Piano - This sounds very much like a piano (that maybe sounds like a strange thing to say, ...

Quick review of Casio CPS-7
I would agree to ALL of the above with one exception.
There are 76 keys, not 45 as reported in the aforementioned review. Aside from that, the review (above) was spot-on! It is a wonderful instrument, I feel this digital piano is easily worth 250 dollars!

Advantages: its better than a toy one Disadvantages: tinny sound, not 88 keys, no weighted keys, hard to get technical support
...of the keys didnt work. Casio was not helpful on the phone, and after a lot of persisting they promised to pick the piano up and repair it. Seven years later I am still waiting (This happened in Spain where I live). The sound is not very good, and I now know that tinny sound is a general trademark of Casio. Also is only has 76 keys, which at the time may seem not important, and then it really is. The lack of weight in keys is probably the worst feature ...
