Of course multimedia is not all it does. It comes with Pocket Outlook, Pocket Word, Pocket Excel and Microsoft Money for Pocket PC. The sound quality is good and it comes with Windows Media Player pre-installed. This lets you play all windows format files, not forgetting MP3s. Video is first class, sound is good - and the multimedia side of it is hard to fault.

The synchronisation was first class, easy to set up and has ran like a dream.
It has all the usual features, address book management, contact management, etc that you find in all pdas. The range of additional software for the Pocket PC (ranging from free to commercial) is now becoming quite large.
Battery life is quite good. The internal battery runs for an average 8 hours, which considering the quality of the screen is extremely good. It has an internal battery which can be powered in the cradle, or directly from the supplied power cable.
It comes with 16mb built-in, which could really have been 32mb. It has the added bonus though that it uses the new Multimedia Card (MMC) and having one of these installed just improves it.
Internet Explorer is also included and is used for connecting to the internet with the sutable equipment. Without using a modem you can use the supplied AvanteGo software to browse the net offline or directly via your computer using the cradle.
Advantages: Good Indoor Screen, Modern Design. Disadvantages: Only 16Mb Memory Inbuilt.
...I looked at was the Casio EM-500. This looked the most modern. It had a good range of software, was at a price which was very competitive, and had a very good indoor screen.
So I decided to try it. When I brought it home, there was a large selection of documentation, but no manual. This was in on one of the two CD's supplied. One was the Casio software, which was lacking and the other was the Microsoft Disk, which contained more usefull stuff. The ... ...was almost non-existant outside. The Casio ran all the applications at a vary fast speed, but movie playback was jolty, but watchable.. The inbuilt speaker was clear, but a little quiet. The headphone socket produced clear, crisp sound, but again lacked volume.
The battery life was good, and was comparable to most other PDA's. It could run for about 2.5 hours playing movies.
All in all, it was a very worthwhile choice, and has proved an invaluable ...

Advantages: Big Screen , Sound , Color , Battery Life Disadvantages: Low Memory(16MB)
How and from where I buy it:
I want to buy PDA so I can manage my data collected in surveys and by other companies and to pass some time by playing games and listing music. But I want something on cheap rates then I go to eBay and I found it at No reserve auction so I placed the bid and get it for only $150.
Processor, Weight and Dimensions:
Processor speed is 150MHZ, weight is only 218gm and the dimensions are 8.2 cm x 1.9 cm x 12.8 cm
Shape:
... ...big very good color screen. And only three button And one directional pad on it. I can easily place it in my pocket. Picture and Sound Quality:
Picture quality of this PDA is great or you can say the true color. And there is a color manager in it you can also change it color preferences but I like its color very much. The sound quality is Also very good but with speaker very low voice heard that’s why I use headphones. And It also Comes with built ...

Advantages: Excellend Screen, quite good processing speed Disadvantages: Loss of memory if dont charge in time
Being a multifunctional mini PC, its hard not to find a use for it (when home pc is in family use). Probably better suited for business user as I am a student but I admit I used it a lot still. Latest models and brands are more value for money in this present day (it is getting a little outdated). Watch out for the batery running low or all data will be lost!! Consider buying a memory card as 16mb is not much. Overall I was very impressed when this ...
