Casio’s Cassiopeia E-115 will cost you about £420. It has a colour LCD screen which displays at 240x 320 pixels. So it's regulation size.
The machine itself is a dull silver grey colour. At the bottom below the screen and around the buttons it has little perforations or dimples. Unfortunateley these make it look a bit like a dictaphone.
The processor speed is 131 MHz. This is not bad for a thing this size, I think. A friend of mine has a Tiny desktop with the same speed and it works well enough too. The Cassiopeia of course has no hard disk and starts to slow when the 32 Mb RAM starts to get full.
Even though it does have an earphone jack, there is no USB connection, so forget about downloading music.
At the bottom on the 'dictaphone' panel it has three shortcut buttons and a fairly large navigation key. On the side is a jog shuttle dial. The machine looks a lot like the E-105.
I liked the look of the screen but the box itself looks a bit dated. It's a bit boxy like a Seventies car.
