The Cassiopeia Fiva is an ultra-portable, Windows 98-based, mobile computer. It delivers full-featured Windows functionality in a true mobile product. The Cassiopeia Fiva's case is made of a thin, lightweight magnesium alloy. Its compact, ergonomic design delivers ultimate portability with a keypad that is fully functional and easy to use. A low-power 200MHz National Semiconductor Geode CPU combines, on two chips, the processor, memory controller, graphics functions, PCI bus interface, and other functions required by the PC. This greatly reduces the overall component count and provides high performance with low power consumption. Casion's original Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT (HAST) LCD provides 800x600 dots of high resolution in a 6.7" diagonal display. The HAST LCD has been made possible through a number of advances in high aperture ratio thin-film transistors, multi-pin thin chip technology, and super-fine chip-on-glass bonding technology. The result is an LCD that provides outstanding resolution and clarity in a thin configuration. The new ergonomically designed keyboard enables the best continuous touch typing performance in the ultra portable computer class. The 1.5 cm key pitch of the Cassiopeia Fiva keyboard provides a responsive key stroke and comfortable key touch.
Advantages: Big Screen , Sound , Color , Battery Life Disadvantages: Low Memory(16MB)
...How and from where I buy it:
I want to buy PDA so I can manage my data collected in surveys and by other companies and to pass some time by playing games and listing music. But I want something on cheap rates then I go to eBay and I found it at No reserve auction so I placed the bid and get it for only $150.
Processor, Weight and Dimensions:
Processor speed is 150MHZ, weight is only 218gm and the dimensions are 8.2 cm x 1.9 cm x 12.8 cm
Shape:
The Shape of this PDA is good because of its big very good color screen. And only three button And one directional pad on it. I can easily place it in my pocket.
Picture and Sound Quality:
Picture quality of this PDA is great or you can say the true color. And there is a color manager in it you can also change it color preferences but I like its color very much. The sound quality...

...The Casio E125 is the latest evolution of their Cassiopeia range of Pocket PCs, and feature improvements on the already rather good E-115
The first thing you notice about the Cassiopeia is the screen with excellent resolution and colour depth. AFAIK it is the only pocket PC with a 16bit screen (64K colours) the Compaq and HP offerings being only 12 bit (4096 colours) which makes a difference if you want to view photo type images. It doesn't perform quite as well outdoors as the Compaq IPaqs screen but still viewable with some shading.
So what's the damage? #379+vat from Dabs direct. So the E-125 had better be more than a pretty face.
As stated before the E-125 is an evolution of the previous model, and the packaging hasn't really changed, so it's still quite a large pocket PC, comparable to the HP Journadas, and not as slim...

...Well my little Bondi Blue babe is almost 18 months old, and here's the review.
233MHz, how does that compare with the current crop of consumer PC's / iMacs? OK 233MHz doesn't sound like much processing power when you see ads for 700MHz PC's, but you've got to remember that the PC MHz rating is not directly related to that of IBM / / Motorola / Apple's PPC chip architecture. It actually equates to around 450 MHz, so it's not to bad. My machine has a 160 MB of RAM and is perfectly happy tossing 200 MB photoshop files around in it's memory.
What about the Hardrive, isn't 4GB too small? Yes, but after 18 month's of hard work, evev a 10GB drive would have had to have a couple of spring cleans on it. I chose the easy option and bought an external USB CD-RW (x2) and an external 20GB USB Harddrive. So storage worries are now a thing...

You'll have to forgive me father for I have sinned. I cannot stop giggling every time I look at the Casio Exilim EX-V7 I've had for 2 weeks. I look at it and think about the gas powered calculator I had at school that needed four heavily set blokes to... more
This monitor was a major jump for me, as my old Hansol CRT had nothing wrong (aside from being bulky, using lots of power, and being ugly compared to today's flat pannels). I put off getting LCDs until now, as I've never found one that can match a CRT... more
