Advantages: Good Price, Does that it says it will, Solar powered Disadvantages: None that i can think of
I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price).
The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus.
The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys.
This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator
It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products, you just ...
hard or stab at them to get them to work which is always a positive and they don't accidently press when you only touch them lightly which is also a good thing. The buttons themselves are mainly black or navy with bold white writing which are easily readable which is useful.
This calculator can carry out all the tasks that you will need for a GCSE Maths exam including standard form ( the X10 to the power of x button) and basic trigonometry questions involving cos, tan and sin and also the inverse of these functions! Another REALLY great feature which is available on this calculator and not on some other similar models is the fact that you can easily convert decimals to fractions and vice versa by ...

Advantages: Good qualtiy, good performance Disadvantages: Expensive
Every good mathematician and scientist will know how crucial it is to have a scientific/financial calculator of a good quality to aid them in their work. It has many functions such as simple and compound interest calculation, day calculation, amortization, coversion, cost, sell, margin and statistics. It is operated by batteries and normally has a solar cell, even though this particular calculator does not have the solar power functionality but anyone who buys one from elsewhere will be able to sue their solar cell. The Casio has plastic keys and is also of an appropriate weight and size so that it is convenient to sue as well as being useful. It makes many financial aspects of jobs less complicated so i would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying it. It is expensive but worht it in the long run. ...
CASIO has launched the revolutionary DT-X10 series of handheld terminal with built-in Intel PXA255 Application Processor, C-MOS imager and diverse wireless communications via Bluetooth, IEEE802.11b RF and WAN card (GSM, GPRS, CDMA, etc.). It has been developed and manufactured with a specific optical film developed by CASIO that converts external light efficiently into reflecting light, without diffusing and absorbing, to make the display vivid indoors and out where other conventional transmissive LCD screens cannot. This model integrates the RF module compliant with IEEE802.11b standard and supports TCP/IP protocol. Connections with LAN systems are made with ease.
