Casio Calculator

Advantages: Good Price, Does that it says it will, Solar powered
Disadvantages: None that i can think of

I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price). The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus. The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys. This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products, you just ...

Review of Casio FX 85 ES

Casio the wonder calculator!

Advantages: Reliable, Long battery life and very handy!
Disadvantages: Long mathmatical equation inputting not so good.

battery length is the ability to quickly do multiple steps to a calculation using the " ANS " key to input the last answer, or using the ALPHA button to input one of the A-F / X,Y or M memory slots which means you can save 9 numbers! very handy i tell you! Conclusion: I have not recommended this calculator for the SIMPLE reason that it has been superseded with a higher model which might have addressed some of the complaints that I have made above, so you are probably better off looking at that one, as I don?t think they make mine anymore L. I also feel pushed to say that a lot of errors are human when using these calculators, in the omission of rules which are used in, for example algebra, that are not readily dealt with in this calculator. For example, -2 squared; as we all should know is 4, as a minus times a minus becomes ...

Casio Calculator

Advantages: Good qualtiy, good performance
Disadvantages: Expensive

Every good mathematician and scientist will know how crucial it is to have a scientific/financial calculator of a good quality to aid them in their work. It has many functions such as simple and compound interest calculation, day calculation, amortization, coversion, cost, sell, margin and statistics. It is operated by batteries and normally has a solar cell, even though this particular calculator does not have the solar power functionality but anyone who buys one from elsewhere will be able to sue their solar cell. The Casio has plastic keys and is also of an appropriate weight and size so that it is convenient to sue as well as being useful. It makes many financial aspects of jobs less complicated so i would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying it. It is expensive but worht it in the long run. ...
