Let me just cut to the chase. Their needs no introduction- the Casio ExilimS2 is the ultimate camera.
The EX S2 has got to be the best digital camera ever produced- unless you compare it with cameras of triple the price! I'm not saying that it overcomes the latest technology of all cameras. It is just an amazing camera that suits its price. You will not find a better camera that is cheaper than this one, unless you are looking at a used one.
Proffesional photographers...look for another camera. This is obviously NOT a camera for proffesionals, as it does not withhold enough pixels to suite their needs. So as i just said- LOOK AWAY.
All you ordinary people out their who dont take photography as a proffesion, i would reccommend you get this camera. The camera has many features such as adjustable resolutions and digital zoom. great for taking pictures at holidays or for photos that you can print. it has a VERY quick shutter speed, meaning that you can take quick snaps of moving objects or people, making it good for taking pictures of sports.
The GOOD and the BAD: The camera can fit in any pocket unless you are the size of a small doll. You can carry it ANYWHERE. Ive been talking alot about taking photos. But this baby can even take films. Only problem is, the films are 30 second movies. Furthermore, it cannot record any sound. I was saying that it didnt have enough pixels, but that was for the PROS. Few people are pros in photography. You have to understand that these people require the highest resolutions- you DONT! 2.0 MegaPixels is good enough. The pictures it takes are of high quality. A VERY good feature in this camera is that you can change the quality of the picture. You can either choose ECONOMY, NORMAL and FINE. ECONOMY, although it doesnt sound very high quality like, is VERY good on this camera. NORMAL is even better, and FINE is the best, though not reccommended for moving objects because of the change of shutter speed. You can even use Best Shot mode for cool effects. Only problem with THIS is: the higher the quality, the fewer the photos. Not a very big problem if you have a memory card. By the way- you dont HAVE to buy a memory card for this camera like most of the others- it has an integrated built in memory of 12 mbs!
Unlike toher cameras that take a long time to start up, this one turns on and is ready to have a shot or snap in less than one second! So unless you are taking a picture of an atom vibrating, you wont miss anything.
It is VERY easy to operate this camera. Just switch it on and take a snap! In Best Shot Mode, all you have to do is choose the type of picture or scene you want to take, such as a 'Night Scene' or ' Landscape' . It will adjust the correct white balance and contrast by itself. It even gives you instuctions on HOW to hold the camera in certain situations for the best effect! Talk about EASY!
Video Mode: If you want a camera that can take good movies, then this is NOT the one. The movies it takes are only 30 seconds long, with no sound. The digital zoom in video mode is VERY pixelated. But when you take an ordinary PHOTO with full digital zoom (4X), the image will not come out pixelated. Even though it SEEMS that the picture is pixelated on the LCD screen, when you look at the taken picture afterwards you would notice how clear and unpixelated it is.
Power and Power USE: This camera contains a Multi-Chip Module (MCM). This GREATLY reduces power consumption, allowing the battery to run for long periods. The MCM is also the reason why the camera is so small!
Fashion: No need to talk about this. You cannot get a more fashionable digital camera.
I SERIOUSLY reccommend this camera if you have a low budget. It has made photography for me MUCH easier. I personally think that the camera should hold a higher price tag....but what the hey...GOOD FOR US!

hiya guyz. just to let you know- i never copy out my reviews. the first time i had ever set my eyes on that website was when sirg wrote down the address. there are BOUND to be a couple of similarities since i am actually describing THE SAME PRODUCT! i own the camera- so me of all people should know how to write a review about it. secondly- as i said, there are a 2 MINOR similarities. It is just a coincidence. Unless you have significant proof that i have copied out anything out of any website- which i ensure you is not the case- please send me an email. I do not like being wrongly accused of having stolen work from other people. I have put a lot of effort into this and i dont like being discredited by other people who have no idea what the actual truth of the scenario is. thank you.
