My fiancee (now wife) and I love going out and about in Scotland and quite often take our cameras with us as you never know what picture oportunities will come up so when out one day I noticed this camera and decided to get one of these for her so that she too had a digital camera with some good functions (her old digital camera was clumsy to use and did not have any optical zoom) and since buying this I have never looked back. The Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 is a terrific little camera in looks, feel, weight, functionality and ease of use. Want to point and shoot then this camera is fantastic for you...want to take time and zoom in and change the angle you take your shot from then this is not a problem either as the camera has a fantastic large colour screen which is easy to see and makes taking the shots both quicker and easier (smaller screens cause you to spend longer trying to look at the image whereas the slightly bigger screen makes it easy for you to take a quick look at the screen and be happy with the picture). The camera battery last a good amount of time and the weight of the camera means that you are happy to carry it about with you for the day without feeling like your arm is going to drop off. The camera has an excellent flash which like all functions on this camera is easy to change settings for. All in all this camera has functions that you would expect from a lot more expensive camera and the feel of the camera is like it is more than what you are paying also.
