I was going on holiday in 2 weeks, and decided i could not be bothered to faf around with getting films and having to have the m developed, with the risk of them also not developing properly. The Casio EXILIM EX-750Z is my first compact digital camera. My other cameras have been "large" ones. My main camera is a Canon EOS 20D, which is great when I go out on a photo shoot, but much too big to take everywhere with you. I wanted something to keep by my side at all times and that's why I chose the EX-750Z. It wasn't cheap but it's certainly value for money. Please forgive me if I miss out any of the functions but there are just so many. It takes Secure Digital memory cards but doesn't come with one. A brilliant little compact, I've had mine for about 2 years now it has a good size screen, loads of features, many of which I am yet to use!! and its very durable - I've carried it round in my back pocket with no case many a time and never had any trouble with it. A very nice feature is the best shot mode which has nearly 30 pre - loaded shooting scenarios such as scenery, portrait, party, candle light etc by selecting one of these modes you are automatically setting the camera up to shoot a particular scene and you can also add your own modes to the pre - loaded ones, not that I have ever ... more

As the first Digital Camera I had purchased, the Casio EXILIM EX-Z750 was the perfect choice. Although smaller than I expected, it was packed full of features. Quite overwhelming to begin with. But don't let this put you off. Once you have learned to navigate the menus (which took all of 5 minutes), it is a very FUN camera. I found myself taking pictures of anything, like a kid in a candy shop, I didn't know which shot to take next.
