I bought this camera a couple of weeks back and am absolutely delighted with it. Being a complete and utter camera novice I certainly wasn't interested in scrolling through a plethora of technically clever functions to be able to take a decent picture. I just wanted something reasonably simple I could point, press and rely upon after the cheap Praktika I'd been given some time ago as a birthday present kept letting me down by delivering blurred images.
This Casio Exilim fits the bill beautifully. It is small, stylish and so easy to use a child could do it. I have tested it out by rattling off a series of shots in varying situations (overcast rainy day, sunshine streaming in through a back-lit window, TV on in a dark room etc.....it even captured the image on the TV and smoke coming out of an ashtray!) and it has delivered each image back to me beautifully with no more than a couple of button presses plus it seems to go relatively easy on it's removeable rechargeable battery.
The only minor complaint I have is that you cannot upload images directly from it to your PC like you could with the Praktika. You have to do so via the Hot Album software interface it comes packaged with although, once you've got the hang of it, that too is relatively easy.
I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone thinking of buying one and have given it a 5/5 star rating.
