I have now owned the Casio fx-83ES for many years, it's gotten me through my GCSEs, my A-Levels and is still going strong now I'm halfway through my Maths degree! This calculator has all the functions you will need to complete practically any Maths qualification, and plenty more to boot.
What really sets it apart from the competition is the natural display, which allows users to see clearly what they are doing, as opposed to other calculators which can get confusing. The memory stores your previous calculations, making certain complicated processes a doddle. The calculator is battery powered, the batteries in mine have lasted many years without needing to be replaced.
Simply put, if you're studying Maths from GCSE level onwards, this is a must-have!
