Casio is the leader brand in calculators worldwide up to now it's the only brand I ever use. Bought this one from Argos two years ago only to have it as a spare in case the other dies of batteries in the middle of the exam since it was cheap and it was solar powered so no need to have to worry about batteries. When I first switched it on I freaked out when I saw the natural typing they added in this new series of models and was very relaxed when I found out you can remove it and use it like the old models. The natural typing is really good for people who first learn how to use an fx calculator but it's slow and to boring for people who are using fx calculators for years. The features are the same more or less with any other fx calculator and there are many and you have to read the manual if you want to figure them all out but if you need something specific you can just play a bit and figure it out yourself thats what i did since this calculator is really easy to use.

Ah i remember having to use calculators in an exam - they drove me insane even then so glad i don't have to use them now! If only they had done a calculator that understood algebra then i might have done better in my exams lol A good review, which lists all what the functions, but a bit more detail might help the thickos of us out there whom calculators are not our forte, other than that definitely an excellent start :o) Sarah xx
