Right, i bought this from the net. It was well packed and i thought it's going to be in a great new style but it was almost the same as other casio calculators. The good thing was that we don't have to bother about the cell life as it could be charged by solar energy. There was a huge booklet of information which i didn't bother reading at all. The extra function in this was it could show the square roots in surd form rather unusual as other calculators usually show them in decimals. This was really useful. I think this will make a good market but time has to tell, i shall update if any new feature comes to mind!

Advantages: so many funtions, makes calculations a lot easier, draw graphs, big screen, large memory Disadvantages: battery powered, bulky, long instruction manual
...I was required to get a graphical calculator for A-level maths and the casiofx-9750G plus was the one sold through the college.
This has been unbelievably useful as with the many functions, it helps with things that would normally take a long time to do by hand.
It is a white colour with a green back and sides. The lid is easily taken off and can be put on the back whilst the calculator is in use and the large screen is incredibly useful when looking at graphs.
It came packaged in quite a large box ( 20cm x 14cm) and althouh the calculator is quite bulky, most of the box contains the instruction booklet. It is 480 pages long with ALL of it being in english. This meant it was a bit daunting to look at so I only really used it to work out how to put the batteries in.
Pressing on will take you to the main menu which has 15...

Advantages: Very good quality graphic calculator Disadvantages: Speed of 'graph' calculations and lots needed to learn to use it
...The Casiofx-9750G is the calculator I now use at college. It seems to be the standard calculator to use now at AS and A level, as I know other sixth forms other than my college who now solely sell these to their students.
The look and layout : -
The Casiofx-9750G is a quite chunky calculator with dimesnsion of 178mm x 89mm x 21mm, as one might expect of a graphic calculator, but it is not unnattractive to the eye. It comes in an assortment of colours, mine being green, but all (that I know of) have a white cover and front surface. The calculator has some attractive, if pointless, curves in its body, but to be honest, when choosing a calculator I don't think look should have a great deal of influence. The layout of the calculator is very good. The screen, dimensions 36mm x 62mm, give ample room to carry out calculations and is...
