(+) Arguably the best looking mens watch ever. Large clear display, Solar powered,Enough functions to keep you informed/amused forever. (-) Not G-Shock nor Atomic clock (via radio signal) contolled. You certainly need instuctions here as well.
for Men - Resin - Quartz Analogue and Digital - Water Resistance: 200 metres - Black Dial - Mineral Glass Face - Traditional Buckle - Features: Chronograph, Alarm
Advantages: shock resistant, water proof, durable Disadvantages: might not be suitable for evening/formal wear, slightly expensive
My husband is naturally careless and clumsy. He is famous for forgetting to remove his watch before showering!. , So when i wanted to gift a watch to him ,
I was very particular about the reliability of the product. Since he is prone to allergy , I had to be careful about the watch straps too while choosing.
CasioGshockwatch has a 'tough' look and that is the type my husband loves.
The case and strap are made of plastic, I chose black colour, though there are
grey and i think blue also to choose from. The display is large, clear and striking and has a light blue coloured light. There are buttons on the sides of the watch to adjust the time, day and date settings ,dispalay light and also the world time which is a great advantage if you are travelling!!. It has a daily alarm and also birthday/anniversary reminders ...

Advantages: Looks great, tons of features, wont break! Disadvantages: Would look silly on a small wrist.
I was looking for a new watch when the G-Shock caught my eye. These watches were previously highly sought after with insane prices of £100+ being acceptable!
Look & Feel
The G-Shockwatch is pretty stylish. The case is made from a tough plastic, finished in a dark blue colour. The G-Shock logo is displayed on the top of the watch in yellow lettering. The LCD display is quite large and is very clear and easy to read, it is encircled by a silver ring which displays some of the buttons alternate functions and says shock resist on the bottom. There are four other buttons on the sides of the watch to adjust the settings, these are grey, are easy to press and responsive (unlike my old watch on which the buttons were so tiny they were almost impossible to press!). Below the display is the final button, this is black and has the G-Shock ...
Advantages: Very Tough, Virtually impossible to break Disadvantages: You just try and change the battery
G-Shock
+Introduction
Well Casio produce the G-Shock (and Baby-G) range, very well i might add, was first made in 1983 with their fist model, the DW5000C. Each G-shockwatch was originally made to meet the 'Triple 10' criteria, which consisted of a 10 Metre Fall (shock resistance), 10 bar (100 m water resistance) and 10 years use. It was made so that it could fall in any direction of 10 metres and survive the impact, not just the outer shell, but all the internal components.
The G-Shock today has exceeded those original targets, with 20 bar (200m water resist), bashed against concrete slabs/trees etc (god knows i threw it against the floor my hardest and it didnt break) and over 10 years use so far. I have bashed and knocked mine on various occasions, at moment i work in an outdoor charity centre and its hit loads of tree but ...
