Right... I have finally lost it.. I have been searching through Ciao for something that nobody has written a review about that I would know inside out.. .and at last I have found it .... The Casio MS-8L Calculator.
I wasn't going to write a serious review as I doubt anyone on this planet actually would consult a forum before purchasing a calculator..
I have the luxury of working for a large company that supply my stationary for me as do probably most of you. So as we speak and you read this you are probably looking around your desk and spotting the exact same calculator that we speak of now..
What can you say about the calculator.. It has all the neccessary buttons 0-9 on the numeric pad and the function keys that all calulators have (although I have still to master the percentage key - never could get how the thing worked).
Now when I say I know something inside out, I really mean it... bored one day in the office I decided to take the poor thing apart (DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS I AM A TRAINED PROFFESSIONAL !?!?! )
once the sleak black exterior of the calculator was pushed aside I proceeded to flip over the polarised panel in front of the LCD display, so, intead of having the numbers appear in black on a white (or dull grey) background, they now appeared in the Dull grey where as the background was now black..
This was an ingenious move on my part as now I had a totally unique calculator that was instantly recognisable.
Not happy with my achievments I proceeded to temporarily remove my work colleagues calculator and rather sneakily swopped the keys around.. It caused much confusion for the poor boy for about half an hour before I explained what happened..
In summation..
It's a calulator, it's not the best, but it's easy to modify (ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT SUGGESTED).
It's Black
It's made by Casio
Go on .. you know you want to... get the calculator
priced at £5.59. (for those of you that are concerned)
