Found my PDA with Ebay for euro 91; the normal retail price is situated between euro 189 and 249. My PDA was by the way still brand-new and originated from a bankrupt's estate. By the way I do not describe some functions here, because I do not use her.

I use the device almost daily since approximately 3 months and am very inspired with that small thing. Looks beautiful, is easy to serve and software and Downloads finds one everywhere; partly free of charge and partly liable to pay the costs.

* Approximation attempt *

In the cardboard a high quantity of brochures and operating instructions. At first attempt I found the correct one and made myself to reading. The guidances are all very clearly written and quickly I found what I looked for. I inserted the batteries and was ready to go.

* Software *

Many programs are already installed; almost like a correct small computer. It is a miracle that, such a small device, can present so much; Appointment calendar, output list, to-dolist, games, telephone- manager and a genuine spread-sheet analysis: EXCEL. I do not enumerate here everything, because that would blow up the text, but of the provided software I am simply inspired. It can partial be used intuitively, but by the good operating instructions, one is also fast familiar with the remaining software.

On the page http://www.casio.de and http://www.pocketviewer.de one gets by the way also still each quantity useful software as Download. To have predominantly as Freeware. I made myself for example from my pocket Viewer an eBook. First I downloaded the appropriate device update, the mini Bookprogramm and the eBooksoftware. Everything goes very simply and also quite fast. EBooks one can download now also almost everywhere and my pocket Viewer free of charge a portable library in such a way became, which prepares much joy for me. Additionally still another CD ROM is at with each quantity addition software. Simply super.

* The best *

The best at the device is for me the input; simply with the pin or the finger on the device write and is noted already the telephone number. The insertable keyboard makes still simpler all. More do not look up for note and coolie; always everything directly to the hand. By the small mass, the device disappears quite simply in each handbag and in each interior bag. However one should buy still another better protection flap for a few euro; because one can turn the device on already times inadvertently. The batteries keep evenly not eternal for a long time however.

* Where bring do I mean trusted and CO under? *

In the directory naturally. Completely freely configurable and very simply in the operation. Everything shows up from alone and one can the most diverse contact contacts create. Exactly as one means that one needs it. Not to over-bid at functionality.

* Boredom is gone *

For the gamefreaks also somewhat thereby the device is with two, Windowsusuall, games of cards is already delivered. For me fewer interesting, because it goes on the batteries.

The device offers 1001 possibilities to me and I is fully and quite content thereby. Thus I procured extra a protection flap and cannot always the background lighting be burned. One wants to now preserve the batteries. The work with the Docking station on the PC makes it possible everything in the pocket Viewer still more near regarding and revising. Once in the week I set at the PC, follow everything and revise my dates and other quite comfortably at the keyboard. Also so one can preserve its batteries.

The batteries are now still, after 3 months, quite full and my data go also not lost if them being times empty should. As goes is too complicated to me, but Fail Safe Flash MEMORY is called. In any case it is very useful to me.

The pocket Viewer is so extensive in the handling, which I can list here not at all everything. I am anyhow more as contently thereby and all loose note notes and calendar pages I have threw away. If I on the way am now and times fast or write even email wants to make a new date, then I am with my pocket Viewer 100x better to. Only the most expensive one is, but for me the best one not. One really does not need color display and such stuff; a more economical version, like evenly my pocket Viewer, do it also.

* Termination *

I know write thus about my PV-S200 really not and do not offer the competition, like Palm, similar devices with security not more cheaply on (whereby I had naturally an good deal with Ebay). To the service of Casio I must deliver then also still something praise. The homepage offers already assistance enough for smaller problems. Thus one knows all operating instructions without large stress downloaden itself there for the Acrobat reader. One finds the last new software there also and constantly new internal messages. At the moment one can receive an expensive leather briefcase for its pocket Viewer, if one exchanges its old data base with Casio against pocket a Viewer. There is a lower surface with addresses where one turns out for a Evt. repair to take can and a very complete FAQ collection. So one can help oneself actually should one with the device, against expect, from the feet not come.

* Technics*

Memory:
Is preserved also without batteries (fail fail-safe flash MEMORY, upgrade able)
-4 MB (PV-S250: 2MB) for the contained PIM functions
-1 MB for additional software u.
-1 MB for own applications (SDK for developers available)
Display: 160 x of 160 pixels, with optional background lighting
Pin input on the display over symbols and insertable QWERTZ keyboard
Size of (H x B x T):
approx. 10.7 x 82 x 125 mm
Weight: approx. 130 g
Batteries: 2 x AAA

* Result and recommendation *

This device gives me everything which I for my personal Managment need. The old appointment calendar has retired and the many notes with telephone numbers also. Both there home and on the way the ideal companion. Even I can keep my finances in the eye; very useful.

To recommend one knows this device almost at everyone, which is much on the way or has much to do. Very easy application and the durable housing bear also the stressige life of a pupil or a student. Additionally the device is concerning the price seen already worth a recommendation.
