The LCD is a nice size and nice and clear. (At 1.8") with 122100 pixels.

We managed to get hold of this product for £423.00 with a 64mb CF Memory card.
This relatively new product has a brilliant image quality and is also very easy to use. (It has auto shoot, auto focus, auto white balance and auto focus so you do not have to worry about it) There is a best shot mode where you choose what sort of situation you are in and the camera sorts all the shutter speeds etc out for you.
What are the features of this product?
It has true 3.34 Megapixel Colour filter CCD, Canon F2.0 3x Optical, Wide aperture lens so that you can zoom in and out and take a picture of almost anything you want with good quality colours. It also has a 4x digital zoom to give a maximum magnification of 12x zoom.
There are 26 image choices in its best shot function. Some examples are beach, Blue sky and twilight.
It has a Mode B bulb, 60 sec. 1/1000 shutter range, Aperture Priority, shutter speed priorityAE and Manual exposure set.
You can also gain full control of the camera and have all option manual instead of automatic and the camera doing it for you.
Another feture of the QV-3500EX is its versatile digital recording and playback features with two movie recording modes. You can record up to 30 secs of move. (Also has panorama recording and playback which combines single images to create breathtaking panoramas. (With 0.5 second interval playback.)
You also get the Casio Photoloader software which is an easy way of downloading your images.

I would recommend this camera to beginners and more advanced users as it is a nice all round camera. I would also recommend the use of rechargable batteries as they new ones will run down quickly.
Advantages: Excellent picture quality which has produced some much admired A3 size framed colour photos Disadvantages: Poor Lense cap and almost impossible to use with gloves on.
...I have had with my Casio QV3500 is the lense cap. I have had three and they have all are very loose fitting and eventually fall off.
The camera has a host of functions which enable it to produce first class photographs. Even in the point and shoot mode it seems to produce some outstanding photographs. However there are a whole range of "modes" that can be selected for specialist shots. They cannot be seen easily through the viewfinder in daylight ... ...beautiful quality photographs.
At the time I bought it in August 2000 it was excellent value for money and has proved to be a really good buy and treasured possession.I will almost certainly buy yet another Casio if I ever feel the need to upgrade to another dgital camera. ...

I am the proud owner of this Lumix and love it to bits.I have had 3 previous digital cameras.
The first was a huge CasioQV3500EX (see my previous review) which I purchased in 2000 and is a museum piece now - how rapidly these machines have advanced since then. Even at 3 Megapix it did take some great photos though.
The second which I purchased in 2004 was a much more modern Pentax - great little camera but I lost it and the reason was that it was in one of those velcro wallets which you are supposed to put on your belt.
I know it must have fallen off when I was getting out of my car and I didn't notice. I will never use a velcro strap attachment again.
This LUMIX camera has a loop to slide through your belt if you are a bloke, I don't know how the ladies carry them. I keep mine on my belt a great deal but more often I ...
