Not perfect, but what do you expect?
Advantages Size, very handy
Disadvantages Uses far too many batteries, size, sort of
Although this pocket-sized television is one of Casio's more basic versions, it is still very good. The small size means you can take it (practically) anywhere and still watch TV, and the quality is still good enough to mean that your viewing is not hampered.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Size, dimensions: The size of the screen is 2.3 inches, which means although all the pictures are slightly cramped they are still easily viewable.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Technical Details: The television has a 2.3 inch LCD colour screen, which means it has good picture quality. The sound is mono (as opposed to stereo), which means it can sound a little flat at times, but it really isn't something you tend to notice when you are using it. It also has a headphone socket (handy if you are using it in the car or around other people), an A/V input (so you can hook it up to the mains. This is very important; read on to find out why!), and a telescopic aerial which means it can be easily stored and the reception is generally pretty good. It uses four AA batteries, and as I said a mains lead can be bought. Technologically wise, there is nothing stunning about this product. There are no scart sockets, you can only change the volume and the brightness, not the contrast etc., there are no text pages (teletext etc.) and you have to scan to find the channels, but with a TV of this size and versatility, does it really matter? I don't think so.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Accessories: The television comes with no real accessories (at least I didn't get any!), although you can buy a mains lead for it and also headphones. However, I seem to have had some problems in tracking down a mains lead, nowhere seems to have them, and I can't find them on websites such as Comet's. Draw from that what you will.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Possible Problems: As I said before, this product isn't perfect, and there are some problems that I have noticed when using it. Firstly, it uses A LOT of batteries. I have found that when using four Panasonic AA batteries, I can get about half an hour to an hours use out of it before they run out. I don't know whether other users have encountered the same problem, maybe it's just mine, but for me it just isn't long enough. Plus, as I said before, I have trouble in tracking down an official Casio mains lead, and to be honest I don't really trust any of the other brands. It can also take a while to find the TV channels, as you have to scan for them. Another problem that especially applies to all you football fans out there is that when writing appears on the screen (subtitles, news headlines etc.) it is often too small to read, and just becomes a blur. In the context of football, it is almost impossible to see the score and the time that has passed in the top left hand corner of the screen. It can be a bit annoying.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion: However, I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that the problems I have outlined are fairly minor and almost trivial (especially for those of you who don't like football!), and I think I can safely say that with this TV, the positives outweigh the negatives. It is small, handy, convenient and above all cheap, and if you want something just to carry around with you on a budget, you can't beat it. So by all means buy it, but if you want to watch the football, best go to a pub.

Interesting review, could be useful to have, although not so keen on the fact that you can't see the footy scores!
