Toy Story: One for the children.

Advantages: Good gameplay, alright graphics, fun for the kids.
Disadvantages: Unmemorable music, will become quickly boring to adults.

Age Rating: 3+ Around £3 - £5 on Ebay.co.uk. Minimum Requirements: Double Speed (2x) CD-ROM Drive. 486DX2-66MHz or faster processor. 8MB of available RAMC12MB recommended. 10MB free disk space. Microsoft Windows Version 3.1 or later (Windows 95 compatible). 8-bit sound card. 256 colour Vesa, Pci or other local bus video. (There is no multi-player) I'm sure everyone's seen or at least heard of Disney's Toy Story movie which is about toys coming to life when the humans are not around. This is a video game following the storyline and creating fun levels to play. I'd had bought this years ago when I was younger and had promptly given up after becoming stuck on one of the earlier levels, four to six years later and a pound sign next to the title on Ciao! (It's all about the money) I'm loading up the game on my laptop ...

dime store magic - kelly amstrong

Advantages: book 3 of 6
Disadvantages: not as good as the first two

i have to say i was realy looking forward to reading this book as the first two in the series, "Bitten" and "Stolen" were very good. i was disappointed to discover that this book mostly sets the scene for book 4 "Industrial Magic" and only has a few of the original characters from the first two books in it. the first two books in the series concentrate for the most part on werewolves which i really enjoyed and had a very strong lead female role where as this book i felt Paige (the lead female) was quite wishy washy and actually a bit pathetic. i would recomend this book if you are planing on reading books 4-6 and i have to say that the characters from this book do get better in the future books and a lot more of the characters background is explored and explained in the other books. its a not a book i'll be rushing to read ...

Review of Dime Store Magic - Kelley Armstrong

Magically Mighty!

Advantages: Awesome graphics, some nice new features
Disadvantages: Some of the changes from HOMM IV aren't for the better, GLITCHES!!

Those who read my previous review on Heroes of Might and Magic (HOMM) IV, will know that I'm a big fan of the series and have been since I was introduced to HOMM 2 several years back. Well, some time after the release of HOMM IV I noticed that it was no longer on the shelves in shops (not too much of a problem as I already owned it by then), with the apparent reason being that the makers 3DO had gone bust. This left me to mourn the end of my favourite series of PC games, but, after all hope had long since vanished, Ubisoft picked up where 3DO left off and have now released HOMM V. WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT THEN? HOMM is set in a world of swords and sorcery and fantastical creatures. Throughout the series the aim had been, essentially, to guide a hero or heroes around an adventure map, picking up resources and battling free ...
