Disadvantages: None- it is fantastic

What is the Drinkwell Pet Fountain? This pet drinking fountain, designed for use by both cats and cats, is part of an extensive range of water fountains, produced by Drinkwell, manufactured to provide an alternative way of providing fresh drinking water for your pets. The product itself You'd think providing drinking water for a dog would be one of the simplest tasks there is, you get and bowl, fill it with water and place it on the ground, ...
...had in stock was these Drinkwell Pet Fountains, that's what I took home. The Drinkwell Pet Fountain was invented by an American lady called Mary Burns as a practical way of providing fresh and hygienic water in a way that most animals prefer- in a continuous running supply. Most animals apparently prefer this over water in a bowl as in the wild, moving water is much fresher than stagnant and animals know this by instinct, meaning they should naturally ...

CAT-IT Keeps your cat hydrated!

Advantages: encourages your cat to drink lots of fresh water, important for their health
Disadvantages: apart from initial outlay, none!

My apartment was hot enough for me, let alone my cat! Aiko is a two year old, rather naughty tortoiseshell cat who is very picky when it comes to food and water and just about anything! Being conscious about her health I had noticed that even in the hot weather when the apartment was in 30degree heat, she was hardly drinking any water, which could potentially lead to health problems for her and expensive vet trips for me! So I knew I had to do something ...
...local pets-at-home I returned with the Cat-it and wondered how she would take to it. What is it? Cat-it is quite simply a large water bowl with circulates the water, simulating the fresh flow of water in the wild, attracting cats to it. The reservoir holds one litre of water and has a carbon filter pad across the bottom of the reservoir just above the pump to help keep the water fresh. The top of the reservoir has a plastic cover, which the water ...

Mew loves it!

Advantages: Works well, good price, looks smart
Disadvantages: None

...the Internet we chose the Staywell Clockwork Operated Pet Feeder which we purchased from Pet Supermarket for £22.99. There were more expensive ones out there which had the facility to put ice packs in them to keep food fresh but as we intended to use dry food this wasn't necessary. There were also ones where we could record a message for Mew to play when his meal was available but I thought this would really confuse him! He would wonder where we ...
...us! Anyway the Staywell feeder was the one we chose and we are pleased that we did. It comes in a sturdy cardboard box with a picture of the feeder on the front together with a happy looking cat and dog! This particular model is for 'small animals' and 'automatically feeds your pet'. The contraption itself is circular, made from strong white plastic and is about 12 inches in diameter. It consists of a base split into four separate feeding bowls ...

Catit drinking fountain - scares the cat

Advantages: keeps water cool and fresh
Disadvantages: Noisy - our kitten is scared of it

We bought this for our kitten from Pets at Home - we were speaking to our vet about getting our kitten a water fountain and was told it was a good idea. This water fountain cost £17 from pets at home, we thought it was a bargain as there was another one for £39.99. For the cost, it is good value for money as it plugs into the mains and does provide fresh water for your pet. It was easy to set up and we have bought extra filters for the water fountain ...
...in the fountain and moved the kitten's food next to the fountain. What did the kitten think of it? Well, at first she was very curious and creeped upto the fountain. She would not drink from it and ran away quickly. We tried putting treats next to the fountain but this still did not work. We removed her water in her bowl so the only water available was the water fountain, but she did not fall for that either. To get her to drink from it, we have ...
