Buzzzzzz Fleas Be Gone...... Damn you........
Advantages: Stuns & kills any lodgers, gives a relaxing massarge for you pet.. Disadvantages: This will not prevent fleas, just remove them...
...to Tesco, I found this Epilady electronic flea zapper comb, and thought it looked like I could help in my situation.
PRODUCT
The Epilady flea zapper is a comb that detects and removes fleas from your pet's fur, by emitting an electronic charge through the metal prongs on the come. This charge will either kill the fleas or stun them long enough for you to remove them from your pet.
If the flea is big enough it will be able to get removed with the ... ...THE ACTUAL DEVICE
The Epilady Flea Zapper is great little instrument similar to a clothing tagger the clothing shops use to attach tags to clothes before displaying them. It is roughly six inches long and is very compact and light weight, making it very easy to use as it fits neatly into the palm of your hand.
This unit is battery operated and runs off of two AA batteries, which come complete with the comb when you buy it. The batteries are standard ...

No fleas for Mew!
Advantages: Decent price if you shop around, works well Disadvantages: Could be difficult to apply if your cat doesn't like being handled
...also purchased three doses of Frontline to redo his flea treatment. The Frontline cost £9.59 for a box containing three pipettes of liquid. When we were in Pets at Home looking at cat flaps (to then purchase cheaper elsewhere!) we noticed that the items we had purchased cost twice as much there!
The box containing the pipettes is about the size of a postcard and is about ¾ of an inch deep. There is a picture of a cat on the front - now there's a ... ...that Dave could put the Frontline on the back of his neck. He was as good as gold. He didn't struggle and took it all in his stride - bless him!
The treatment will kill 98 - 100% of fleas within 24 hours for up to five weeks and will prevent re-infestation by ticks of up to four weeks. It also fully controls infestation by lice within 48 hours.
There are the usual warnings on the box reminding us to keep the pipettes out of reach of children and ...

Flea be gone
Advantages: Kills them in minutes, and if your lucky u might see one die! Disadvantages: The spray bottle design
well two days ago, after 2 weeks of being eaten alive by fleas i finally threw in the towel, it was me or the fleas and seeing as im the one paying the rent i guess the fleas had to go!.
I went out to seek a flea bomb that i bought last year that had a 6 month long killing instinct and it worked! so i was pretty dedicated on getting it, but my corner shop and chemist didnt have it, and i couldnt remember the name, then i saw this big white can with ... ...after a discussion with the chemist and deep thought over the price £16.25!! I worked out that it would be cheaper than the two flea bombs i was going to buy anyways, and i needed fast results and this claims minutes till action, so i bought it, along with some flea meds for my cat who likes to hang with a bad crowd!
I was abit worried about the spray as im heavily asthmatic and cannot even spray deodrant without having to hold my breathe and run ...

frontline spray
Advantages: kills all fleas Disadvantages: the fumes are quite strong
Frontline spray!! What can I say! As we don't have a lot of money coming in to the household I was a bit dubeous of trying it because of the price. We've tried absolutely everything. If you think about the price of them all and add them all together they cost a lot more than frontline so I thought as a final resort I would try it! WOW. It is brilliant. We have 2 cats and 5 kittens who were all infested. We applied it to all of them and within a few ... ...the white cushions of our sons sofa and there were dead and dying fleas galore! Then on closer inspection we noticed the little blighters everywhere!
I will never try a different product again. overall the product is brilliant and in the long run it saves you money! It lasts for two months. All you do is brush the fur backwards and spray it on.You then rub it in. for the more sensitive areas(and small kittens) just spray it on to your glove and ...

Stop the Nibbles on Tibbles
Advantages: Only needed twice a year, very effective, done by Vets. Disadvantages: Getting them to vets. Does not kill adult Fleas.
...on treatments or injections?
Program Injectable, made by Novartis, claim to be the one, but why? They say it is because they are the only product able to break the Flea Cycle.
So what is the Flea Cycle? Well, firstly, an adult flea will hop onto your cat. After having a lovely meal, courtesy of 'Tibbles', she will then be up for a bit of 'after dinner entertainment'. Within 5 days she will have then laid approximately 200 eggs on your cat. With ... ...---The Pros---
Program is also available in tablet or oral suspension form. Tablets and oral suspension are given monthly by mouth and must be given with food to increase absorption. We found this to be a bit of a problem, and also we often forgot so swapped over to the Injections as it was a much easier option. The injections must be given at veterinaries as they are available by prescription only. The syringes are ready filled and come in blister ...
