Advantages: Loads of bubbles per dip | Catching bubbles on your nose is fun Disadvantages: Can leave a sticky mess
When I registered my son with a toy site he was promised a free gift, now I didn't hold up much hope that it would actually be suitable for him, as although he's seven, he's got quite a large developmental delay. But when a small parcel with his name on it finally dropped through the letter box I was in for a pleasant surprise, as there was a small test tube that was labelled catchabubbles. What you've never heard of them, well read on and I'll tell ... ...Do you remember doing chemistry at school? Yes, good then you'll know what a test tube is, and what we have here is a coloured plastic test tube (ours is green but there are other colours) with a screw top lid. When you open up the lid, you're faced with a gloopy liquid and a bubble wand. The idea's simple, just dip the wand in the liquid, and then blow bubbles. Now, these aren't ordinary bubbles, oh no, as my children put it they're magic bubbles. ...

Advantages: Long lasting bubbles Disadvantages: Not enough mixture. Stains.
There is little my kids enjoy more right now then blowing bubbles, Christopher at 4 years old really has the knack for it, Elsa however is not quite so good at it and inhales the bubble mixture rather than blowing any successful bubbles. We get through tonnes of bottles of bubble mixture and have great fun blowing bubbles together in my mum's garden while her King Charles spaniel leaps around trying to catch them but sometimes you can't help but ... ...come in test tube shaped bottles, usually in bright tones of green, red, blue, yellow etc…they have a metallic clip that allows the tube to be attached to a belt or pocket and the cap when removed holds the bubbles wand. The magic of Catchabubbles is that they are specially formulated to create stronger bubbles, you can literally catch them in your hands and they won't pop, you can join bubbles together, they can settle on a surface and still not ...

Advantages: good clean fun and well presented Disadvantages: not all the bubbles harden and the ones that do might leave a mess
We got this as a stocking filler at Christmas and loved it.
I have two sons, one 10 years and one 1and a bit years, and both enjoyed the whole bubble catching experience - but on different levels. The 10 year old enjoyed trying to gently catch the bubbles on his fingers and balance them there......and then squishing them.
The baby could only catch the ones that had landed on the floor and furniture......and then squishing them.
I enjoyed watching ... ...is that they don't disappear instantly when touched, so they are catchable. The bad thing is that this hardened bubble doesn't disappear instantly and it sticks to fingers leaving a small skin. It also leaves small rings on all the surfaces the bubbles stick to.
We kept it as an outside thing where this wasn't a problem and it is quite charming to watch the bubbles float up into the trees, and still find them there the next day stuck to leaves. ...

My daughter loves to play with bubbles but is always trying to catch them and getting upset when they pop. Then l saw these catchabubbles and thought what a great idea.
We use these in the bath as they are quite messy and sticky when they drip...not a problem in the bath :)
The mixture is a lot thicker than normal bubble solution and after blowing bubbles if they are left for a few seconds they harden a bit then can be touched and held.
Why noy ... ...maybe? Or see who can bklow the biggest!!
Bubble are always a firm favourite with young children so these make a great inexpensive treat.
My daughter is four and thinks these are good fun so l would recommend these for any child from 3 yrs up. Even adults!! ...
